    Me too:)

Thanks to Jamesw2000 in post 213 for the letter,

I got an offer of £48 out of £317, sent off jamesw2000 letter and got one back today offering me the full amount.

All in all it took little over a month from sending my first letter asking for the money back to getting he full amount.

    Just marbles to go now

    Hi

I have used Martins letter templates (1 & 2) in an attempt to reclaim unfair charges which totalled £540 or £700 odd with interest.

I have had a letter back from Egg offering £108 but loads of jargon about OFT and charge reductions.

Should I try and claim the lot or just accept? What are my chances of winning?

    Thanks

    Andy

The Office of Fair Trading made a recommendation that the charges on credit cards be reduced to £12, it isn't however a law but the Financial Ombudsman will support any claim against Egg for their £16 charges.
