Maybe she does - maybe she doesn't want better? Maybe she wants this man, whatever his faults?

But does she want him when the time is right for her?

I remember reading a post from PTN that said (I think, it was a long time ago) that she wouldn't be able to move in with him for several years until her children were through a certain part of their education and (again, I think) he couldn't move in with her (I forget the explanation for that - maybe proximity to work) so they couldn't really be 'together' even if he did leave his wife soon.

I mentioned this in one of my posts a few days ago but PTN hasn't confirmed/clarified the situation regarding what will happen or change for her if he does decide to leave his wife.

likelihood of him leaving his wife for you, slim to none. Even if he does could you live your life happily? If he can do it to his wife, would he have qualms about doing it to his girlfriend?

    i completely agree

Between the ages of 18 - 21 a woman is like Africa or Australia. She is half discovered, half wild and naturally beautiful with bushland around the fertile deltas.
Between the ages of 21 - 30 a woman is like America or Japan. Completely discovered, very well developed and open to trade especially with countries with cash or cars.
Between the ages of 30 - 35, she is like India or Spain. Very hot, relaxed and convinced of its own beauty.
Between the ages of 35 - 40 a woman is like France or Argentina. She may have been half destroyed during the war but can still be a warm and desirable place to visit.
Between the ages of 40 - 50 she is like Yugoslavia or Iraq. She lost the war and is haunted by past mistakes. Massive reconstruction is now necessary.
Between the ages of 50 - 60 she is like Russia or Canada. Very wide, quiet and the borders are practically unpatrolled but the frigid climate keeps people away.
Between the ages of 60 - 70 a woman is like England or Mongolia. With a glorious and all conquering past but alas no future (a bit like Tony Blair, maybe Blair's a woman really).
After 70, they become Albania or Afghanistan. Everyone knows where it is, but no one wants to go there.

    Between the ages of 15 - 70 a man is like Libya - ruled by a !!!!!!.

Whilst disputing the descriptors for older women :), I have to say this really made both me and my husband :rotfl:

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

Nicky, you can't always have what you want. I quite like my SIL's dining table, but its hers so I can't take it. I quite like the look of Brad Pitt but I think he's taken too.

I think she can have what she wants, sounds like she has so far.

Interestingly, Angelina seems to have escaped censure for appropriating Brad - is it 'cos they is slebbritees?

They sound like they deserve each other, if you ask me.

His wife may well deserve better.

Where did I say you can have what you want? Nowhere. I just replied to a post saying PTN could do better by saying that she might not want to. This man might be just what she wants for all sorts of reasons.

I don't doubt that if I wanted I could have a more handsome man, a richer man, a more intelligent man, but I don't - I want the man I have, because he gets me and really, really wants to be with me.

I think most people's sympathies were with Jennifer Anniston though, weren't they?
