Me too. My lovely husband's only jobs are to empty the bins and to put the cardboard out on Friday (he doesn't manage either with any regularity, but I don't care ).

I know he would be soooooo easy to manipulate but I don't take advantage, because I can look after myself.

Im inclined to think its more a case of sheer laziness than manipulation. Being manipulative is complex, and requires using more than one part of the brain. Men struggle enough doing one thing at a time.
