So they are like an agency? Wouldnt a local provider only be contacting local companies? Or all over?0

so to get an interview I will have to tell these people full details of all the jobs I am applying for and they will contact them too? How does that work?0

I was on a programme too. I started the new one last week after finishing the previos one 3 months ago.
The new ones found me a job straight away. I applied for it last Wednesday got an interview on Thursday and started work today.
Although I didnt have a very good first day
I had agreed with the employer to work 30 hours a week. Yesterday she phoned me to let me know I start work tomorrow (today) at 9AM, Which was fine, today I woke up to get ready and she phones me saying I have to start at 8ish which was basicly at 7.45 ( takes me 20 minutes to walk there which she knows.)
I said Im getting ready and will be there soon as I can she said 8.30 please!
I got dressed and went running (without having breakfast) and got there 8.35. Finished at 5.30
I had an hours lunch break. I worked for 8 hours that makes 40 hours a week I had agreed 30. Feel like im being walked all over as shes making the rules as she goes.
I dont really want to say anything as Ive only just started and have been out of work for a while but im a bit stressed about this. Shes told me to come in at 8 tomorrow. ( in the interview she said 9-3 ) And told me to wear a short dress with stockings not trousers . Any advice please ? 0 0

what shop it is? Would we all know them?
so wearing stockings is an excuse not to want to work?
Who found you this job and what does it say about dress code in your contract?
I went to CDG and they told me to ring around all the local stores. I did and this one said they had a vacancy, Cdg told me to go straight away the same day to hand in a Cv with a covering letter ( one which they edited of mine ) I wasnt told about the uniform in the interview. It was a straight forward interview , in which I clearly stated the hours and everything. They were aware I would be walking to work and knew the travel distance.0

CDG? yes but to make you wear stockings is not legal in my eyes0
