    Hiya

I made a complaint about a provider previosly and nothing was done. At that time I was asked to do work experience, And I was told I would be getting a bit extra money on my JSA too.

Once I started the work experience my normall JSA went less (about £20)
I paid out of my own pocket for the travel fare, (4 weeks return bus fare) I had to buy clothes for work out of my own pocket too.

I spoke to someone from the job centre who told me to buy clothes and travel ticket and the Provider will have to reimburse me for it. But they didnt they just said no you could have worn anything to work you didnt have to buy clothes. And as for travel you should have walked " the fresh air would have done you good"

The providors are totally useless and are only after there bonnus they dont help you at all. They get paid to sit there and just have a look at your weekly search while you go there waste a whole day travel, time, and everything even the job centre lady once said that its just really a waste of time total inconvinience.

No sure what difference they are then from the job centre
I hope they pay travel as two trips a week will cost me over £5

With regards to problems with the providers, you should have been given their leaflet at the intial referral in which should be a copy of their complaints procedure.
Sarah, you should raise a complaint with your provider about the woman you are dealing with. If you don't have a copy of the leaflet, ask at your JCP (you should be able to just drop in and ask the floor managers at the front). Her treatment of you seems disgraceful and as for the manager at the store where you're working, well...words fail me!! Definately raise that with Head Office as the woman seems at best incompetent!
all providers are the same they just want you in work so they can get a bonus. they dont care about you at all.

they really should have offered to provide you with clothing for work if it was needed. if you did not have suitable clothing that was required by the placement then i would have just turned up in something else. if the employer questioned it i would just tell them the provider refused to supply proper clothing. they should also have offered to reimburse travel costs every week. it usually isnt your adviser who gives you your travel expenses. it is usually the person at reception. i would have kept all tickets and just went in at the end of the week and said i am here to claim travel expenses.

    Hi

Things have gone worse for me at work, Shes always picking on me and telling me to go faster, Always calling me on the side soon as I walk in to tell me off about something.

This morning when I went in she told me off for leaving a rail outside yesterday Which I didn't.

Yesterday she kept me 35 minutes extra just to tidy up her mess,
Shes making so many mistakes and hasn't got a clue what shes doing and just keeps blaming me.

Today she was telling me to go faster again and I said "your bullying me"
I cant go more faster then I already am.
She went and told her friend who's another manager in staines here to help her. At 2pm they said lets go to the warehouse to see the stock, when we got to the ware-house the manager from staines started yelling at me saying why did you call her a bully. Shes nice etc. I said that Ive been working very hard since I started and its not right her always being on my shoulder telling me to go faster, And blaming things on me.

She over-loaded me with work since I started, I started work and have been taking care of 2 deliveries per week,, when the deliveries come, I manually count them tick them off the paper work, then put the items on hangers, then put size stickers on them then put security tags on them!

The work gets done, I work very hard, But there's stuff there from 2007- 2008- 09-10. I have been working on that too.

One day shes gives it all to me and says put them all in boxes of sale items and boxes of £5 items.
Next days shes says start all over again and put £2 items and £3 items,. The day after she says no put them seasonal. summer 07/ autumn 07. etc..She hasn't got a clue what shes doing at all.

Shes started here 5 weeks ago and moved from Birmingham here for the job, and its like shes got a huge chip on her shoulder and likes bossing people around!

She gets me so stressed and upset all the time I'm there,
Last week she snatched a folder out of my hand when I was replenishing the shop and threw my paper work on the floor, She made me cry.

Then she asks me to come in on Saturdays, (the previous delivery girl never worked on Saturdays )

The atmosphere there is horrible. I don't think I can work there much longer, I would have carried on but after today I'm not sure, The manager from staines who's her friend said that shes going to HR about me that I called her friend a bully!
I said feel free to do so as that's how I feel I feel shes bullying me, if someone leaves something out or the store is not doing well that's not my fault Its not fair she always picks on me and over loads me with work.

They took me to the ware house where no-one was around to witness and intimidated me ! :(

its just an idea but if you get called in by hr after making your case say you are willing to spend a period working at another store to prove it isnt you at fault and that you are a good worker. unless the manager at that store is also bad then it should solve the problem and prove it isnt you in the wrong.
