Hiya
I didn't go in on Saturday, I couldn't get out of bed in the morning felt really exhausted and couldn't move
I went this morning. started at 8 Manager wasn't very pleased to see me but she didn't say anything as I wasn't on the rota for Saturday, She's put me on the rota for next Saturday though.
She filled in the forms online to send off and put me as Temporary and told me I'm on 3 month probation! I don't really mind don't see myself lasting there that long if she carries on like this.
She told me she was going to fire the supervisor next week "because shes lazy".
Shes also given a disciplinary to one of the girls today.
All the girls really dislike her she just doesn't know what shes doing.
She started I think 3 weeks ago and there's still a window advertisement for a managers position.

As for my personal advisor from CDG she emailed me asking if I'm still working ! saying stay there , shes just concerned about her bonus, I only saw her once on the same day I applied for the job.

How's things at work? Hope you got your uniform sorted out now and hope you starting to enjoy work a little bit more. I am witing with reference to our telephone conversation on Friday, as I explained to you it is very important that you stay working with La Senza because if you leave at your own accord then you will not be able to sign back on with Job Centre and you will also be sanctioned for leaving employment.

I hope you are now enjoying work but if you are not please stick with the job until you find something more suitable.

She would have got that reply from me too. Is the manager still being a beatch about the dress code. Please tell me you are not having to wear stockings and short dress/miniskirt still. Thing is you are having to walk to work dressed like that and walk home like it,and also walk round in your lunch hour dressed like it. Is your manager gonna take responsibility if you end up getting unwanted attention from blokes or worse?
And the attitude of your provider disgusts me.
DONT delete any e mails in case you need them at a later date.

Im stil wearing trousers and black shirt, I said to her I wasnt going to wear a short dress as I'll be mainly in the stock room anyway and the previos stock room girl wore trousers too. She said shes going to discuss it with head office.
I met the previos stockroom controller today its her last 2 weeks. Shes a lovely girl.
It's shocking that all the girls are being made to leave one by one
Ive saved all the emails from my provider. Its a shame that shes done nothing and will get a bonus id rather it went to a charity then her.
Manager is in meetings tomorrow so hopefully wont be instore. I'll have a pressure/stress free day.

why don't YOU discuss it with head office and ask to see a copy of the dress code - it has to be in the hand book

Thank you. But I dont think im going to get any support from the provider so im not going to stay in-touch with her anymore. any email she sends I'll just save it in a folder.
Just hope she doesnt phone the store though as she might get me in more trouble by letting the manager know I discussed the issues.

Hiya

Worked 8-2 today. Boss wasnt in but left a list with all the jobs to be done.
One of the girls went to the Dr's and is taking a week off caused by stress.

I spoke to someone regarding the uniform and was asked how I could get on the ladder to put stock up wearing a short dress and tights.
Im told to ignore her and not take any notice about wearing a dress. And if she does insist then to phone Head office.

Delivery came today and when we went to put in on the system we realised she deleted the email, and she also printed 1 less page out, so we have spare stock & havent logged the delivery.

We phoned head office what to do they gave the IT department number to see if we could get the email back , The were supose to ring back but havent so will have to sort it tomorrow.

Then theres another 5 boxes of delivery due on thursday, it's just too much work for one person.
Its been one hassle after another

With regards to problems with the providers, you should have been given their leaflet at the intial referral in which should be a copy of their complaints procedure.
Sarah, you should raise a complaint with your provider about the woman you are dealing with. If you don't have a copy of the leaflet, ask at your JCP (you should be able to just drop in and ask the floor managers at the front). Her treatment of you seems disgraceful and as for the manager at the store where you're working, well...words fail me!! Definately raise that with Head Office as the woman seems at best incompetent!

I made a complaint about a provider previosly and nothing was done. At that time I was asked to do work experience, And I was told I would be getting a bit extra money on my JSA too.

Once I started the work experience my normall JSA went less (about £20)
I paid out of my own pocket for the travel fare, (4 weeks return bus fare) I had to buy clothes for work out of my own pocket too.

I spoke to someone from the job centre who told me to buy clothes and travel ticket and the Provider will have to reimburse me for it. But they didnt they just said no you could have worn anything to work you didnt have to buy clothes. And as for travel you should have walked " the fresh air would have done you good"

The providors are totally useless and are only after there bonnus they dont help you at all. They get paid to sit there and just have a look at your weekly search while you go there waste a whole day travel, time, and everything even the job centre lady once said that its just really a waste of time total inconvinience.
