    On a practical note, can I suggest that you make absolutely sure that she get contraceptive advice urgently. It is not unusual for young women who lose a pregnancy to seek another one as a way of dealing with the grief.

    I think the problem is not down to sex ed at schools but too many glorified under age and pregnant TV shows showing cushy happy endings and not the reality of bringing up a real life baby. I have seen so many and most of them hardly portray being a mum at 15.

    I am not implying your daughter got pregnant on purpose but it has become normal and seems to have zero down sides.

    Sorry for her loss but hopefully she can look back in a few years and see that maybe it was the best thing at the time.
