Morning Stormybay, I hope dd3 isn't feeling too poorly today.

I am sending hugs for her and yourself and anyone else who is hurting today.

    Smoky xxxx
What a beautiful picture. We have 7 cats and they have their own toys as well!!(ok ok I 'm sad!)
Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.

And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.

    Hi Stormy

I'm really glad work went well for you, you have come so far in such a short time. It must seem like years in one respect but only seconds in another.

You have climbed another hill well done :). I hope DD3 is feeling better today, I had tonsillitis for the first time only about 5 weeks before my DH died and I didn;t realise how ill it could make you feel. Then only a few weeks after he died I got it agiain. Fingers crossed that she improves enough to be able to go to camp.

    Hugs from us all xx

Hi to all of you. Everyday when I check in here I start to cry. I feel sorry for all of you struggling in your own difficult circumstances, it seems that such bad things happen to the nicest of people. Sending anyone who needs it a big hug and a virtual slice of chocolate cake. DK x

  • I've just popped in to catch up with Stormy but i see lots of people are going through tough times right now. As dusty said, such bad things seem to happen to the nicest of people - its just so unfair. I'd just like to send a great big hug to seroxatchick, snaggles and clearvisor, in fact everyone that could use one....... ..:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Stormy, im glad work was a useful distraction yesterday even though you left early, i hope your DD is a bit better today and can make the trip tomorrow.

Love and hugs to you all - take care, xx

Just been catching up with recent posts. Stormy - so sorry to hear about your daughter in law. Even if expected it is a horrible thing for your stepson and your whole family especially so soon.

And to everyone else who is having a dreadful time right now - huge hugs. We spend such a lot of time on here and chat with each other but it is only when a thread like this comes along that you realise what people are dealing with in their real lives - the fact that you all can still be there for others and give so much is humbling. Thinking of you all.
  • Lots of (((HUGS))) to you all...we all need them;)

    Take care XXX
  • Embracing all the hugs, aw and pictures of the kitten. Rosie is still a little poorly, but has been tucked up all warm and I'll see how she is tomorrow.
I've just been looking through a few pics of darling John, It's such a bitter sweet experience, but I love to see him, especially as the little holiday we had was only a few weeks ago.
Rosie found some pics on her camera that she took on her birthday just 3 weeks before the tragedy, it seems so unbelievable and I feel so sad for him that he will never see another birthday.
God, I'm pretty sad again tonight, I just wish this knot in my tummy would go away, just for a few minutes!!!!
Hugs to all who need them

    Hi Stormy (and everyone else)
Looking at the photos is a brilliant thing it can be very hard at first but it really will help you to remember the good times if you dont have any pic's in frames about the place do that (maybe you and dd could buy some special photo frames when she's better). Hope you are managing to sleep. Wish I could help with the knot in your tummy, you need a cuddle. I do prescribe some nice ice cream for poor dd's throat though:D
Hug's to everyone that needs them:grouphug: , Take Care Jx (H's gf)
  • Hi stormybay.

I don't know if this is the right thing to say or not but I wanted to say how lovely it is that you managed to spend some lovely quality time with John before you had to say goodbye. So many people lose their loved ones suddenly after silly rows and arguments which is especially sad.

I hope you can look back at your recent holiday with love, affection and, eventually happiness. I really wish I could give you a hug right now, do something to untie that knot.

    Much love.

    LA xx
