Are these real terms or nominal?
What is wage growth? What is the savings ratio? Change in external balance? - I.E. where is this extra spending money coming from?
First two are adjusted with the GDP deflator so are effectively in real terms. The last is in cash/nominal terms.
Exports are up and imports are down. I guess that's where the money is coming from, even in retail. Lots of Aussies are buying from UK websites.0 -
Prices continue to rise then.

Interestig. Nationwide at least is showing a pretty clear rising trend. I'd say Halifax and Land Reg are basically flat.0 -
Well keep on posting things like this if you like but you should be aware that the consequences will be you being depicted in an unflattering cartoon where only the true amount of how much house prices have risen in Edinburgh will be have been changed to protect the innocent.
Alternatively you will launch into a multi year boringly repetative pointless obsession that will ultimately see you banned from one of the most open unrestricted forums on the internet, simply because of the sheer grinding banality of your chatter.
Isn't that right pimp.

I note that you don't use the same expletives or insults to the family of forum members on here as you did on CC - any reason for that?
