advice needed re- benefits

Social Services have a duty of care - please do walk down there again and stress how much you need the help, especially for the baby. Tell them what you are doing to get benefits, tell them about having to take the children to a homeless centre to eat, tell them that you need help now. If you can, take a statement or print out from your bank to show that you have no money in your account to pay for milk for your little one.0

Do you have paypal? I could help out if you do
xx
I am sure that there are those who would rather take the risk of giving money to a fraudster than not help a person who appears to be in dire straits. However, some members might want to know that there have been posters who post this sort of story every six months or so. Essentially, their baby is desperate for food, there is no money for gas and electricity etc and no-one can help. All suggestions by other posters have apparently come to nothing. Both previous times the OP lived in Ashton, Manchester. I'm afraid I fear that the entire aim of this thread is to raise money. Food parcels handed over in a busy supermarket will not do. Search the Benefits forum for Ashton. You will find the most recent similar thread. With this knowledge, what you do with your money is up to you.0 -
You need to listen to kingfisherblue she is a lovely amazing lady who has helped and given me advice on several occasions. Please go on the information she has given you as it is sound advice, why persist in wasting your time going back to places that say they can no longer help when you have been given new places to try that have said they will help.
Kingfisher you are truly an angel xx0 -
Re read the first post
You can sell your laptop regardless of if your in a contract with the dongle it just means they keep billing you every month regardless! and you will be cut off soon for not paying and still owe money anyway.0 -

As you have seen, there are a lot of kind people on this site who are willing to go to great lengths to help a stranger. If you are genuine, for the sake of your children listen to their advice and continue to seek their help, by private message if necessary. I would, if I was in your situation. I felt duty-bound to mention my concerns once the exchange of money was mentioned.0 -
Womens aid is a freephone and 99.9% of the time you would have a roof over your head within 24hrs. I am confused as to whether OP has contacted them or Refuge yet or no?
If not..WHY not?
Income support would be paid for a person fleeing domestic violence regardless of whether they had the child benefit in their name or no. It would be paid at single person emergency rate at least.
Confused!!!!!0
