And do you think your children will be happy living with someone who is violent towards you?
The person who is harming your children right now is your ex. He has literally taken the food out of his children's mouths.
Have you tried the Trussel Trust or Sally Army for a food parcel? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
I know it's easy for me to say but although it feels crap right now the kids are more beneficial in the long run having a happy mum (eventually!) than going back and having to witness what has been happening. You have all been through so much in a short space of time. Have you thought of going to the council office/benefits office/social services/doctors surgery and sitting there refusing to move until someone helps you? Or as others have said visiting local churches for help. I wish I lived closer as I know a lot of organisations in the mids which could help, typical eh!Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0

yes the trussel trust arnt in this area and the salvation army do tea at a homeless centre every other day we went there last night0

please don't go back to your ex - your life wouldn't be worth living. I'm sure you don't want your children to grow up in fear. What if he turns on them as well?
Would the homeless centre accept a food parcel from me and pass it onto you?0 -
HAve you contact CAP this morning? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

i dont know the lady from the centre came this morning and i used her phone to ring the crisis loan and i had to give them her number i dont no if she will be coming today or not we are basically sat waiting for nothing as i dont no what next i cant even think about it. i looked on the cap website and thought it was for debt advice0

I've just rang the Salvation Army and they don't have anywhere that feeds homeless people in Ashton-Under-Lyne........
They did suggest that if the poster is genuine, she should present herself at Manchester Town Hall and the homeless unit there will arrange to put her and her children into bed and breakfast accommodation. They will also help out with baby milk as it is urgently needed. There is a department that deals with cases such as these, and most of the people who go there are women escaping violent relationships. They will arrange transport for the family, as well as accommodation and food. Theuy will also help out with benefits.
The OP could also contact the Women's Homeless Centre on 0161 219 6050. Again, they will help this family regarding shelter, food and benefits.0 -
I am so worried reading this. Op, Kingfisherblue is trying to help you get food, please speak with her. I really wish I was in the UK right now (forces family) as I would try and help to. People on this site are amazing.
