Thanks all comments noted, will be using biological washing powder on the whole bedroom floor tonight, and at weekend try keeping her in a room. She's also booked in to be neutered so maybe that will help! I'll keep trying, i obviously have no option but to really.
Thanks so much for your commentsxx

Aaargh, tried most of the above, this morning she did a number two on the floor followed by a wee in the litter tray so she knows what its for and will use it!! Back to the drawing board i think! Wonder why on earth she does it! So stressful!

Hi there!
On another forum that I visit, I have heard quite a few people had had some sucess with Cat Attract... perhaps it would be worth a try? I think you sprinkle it over the litter... apparently it is supposed to be unbelievebly good?

Have you tried putting an old off cut of carpet in the litter tray? Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0

The kitten may be confused because you've got a few litter trays! I think the idea said above about putting the kitten, water food and a litter tray in one room and shutting the door will help!0

Will hunt down some cat attract, and luckily enough i have some spare carpet so i could line one of the litter trays with it. I have moved the litter tray to the bathroom and spent time with her in there putting her in it etc, i've figured that if she insists on going outside the litter tray i'd much prefer her do it on the tiles!! Also thinking of installing a cat flap so she can go outside if she prefers that! We had the pick of eleven kittens that were all clean and we pick the one that isn't, ch pff!! x

Hi Julie
Is he starting to look a bit scruffy too? It could be a thyroid problem.....being dirty in the house was the first sign with my cat cos she was eating so much as she was hungry all the time that it was going straight through her and she couldn't make it outside in time!
Otherwise, it might just be that he doesn't want to share a litter tray with your cats! This time of year, going outside isn't as much fun for some of our "delicate" moggys:D and he might like a personal litter tray!

zooplus sells a lot of different clumping litters (as well as world's best) & they are way superior to anything I have found on sale in petshops or supermarkets. I prefer the mineral ones as they are talc-scented. Generally the ones with the most stars (like in hotels) are three times more absorbant than litters available elsewhere (supermarkets & petshops). I agree the length of time saved (frequency buying, cleaning litter trays, ouder control) petrol etc & storage outweighs the initial outlay spent on these new types of litter.0

Is it ok to flush it down the loo then?0
