  • I do not work for this website at all. I simply had a good experience and was impressed when they paid for the return which they didn't need tro do.

Yet you were initially sent a faulty product and you see that as part of the overall 'good experience'? :rotfl:
  • Astonishing how long such dodgy outfits are able to keep going.

Mind you the name alone makes me feel like I need to go and have a shower.
  • I made the mistake of not doing my research before ordering from this outfit.
I placed an order on 8th November and received an email message saying "Thank you for your new order. We will update you with the progress of your order over the next 2 working days." since which time I have heard nothing!

No goods have yet been received from them - nor any acknowledgement of my concerns.

I have filled in the complaint form on their website – no response.

I have sent emails and repeatedly tried their telephone number which it tells me that "someone is on the phone", so cuts straight to voicemail answer box which is full and therefore the call is terminated.

I note from the research on the internet that other customers have been treated equally badly and therefore I have had no option but to place the matter in the hands of my Credit Card issuer.

Oh how I wish I'd seen all these posts before ordering. Avoid this company at all costs.
  • Absolutely, well and truly, robbed by this outfit. I ordered a headset in the first week of Nov, got the email saying they'll be in touch in 2 days. After hearing nothing for 2 weeks I questioned them and they said they're sending a second one and to email them if I received 2 of them. Lies. My opinion is they're looking for a second hand one on Ebay to resell onto me as new! Anyway, sent them countless emails since and heard nothing.

This leaves me in limbo as I can't order another one elsewhere until this is resolved.

I will be doing my own research, but if anyone has any information on these thieves, let me know. Since there seems to be no legal entity that can stop this theft, I intend settling this face to face.

I ordered a Motorola lapdock from NiceCans for my phone - it was cheaper than anywhere else and arrived as promised. Item was sealed and I'm very happy with the service. Based on this experience I ordered a car holder for my phone; again it was cheaper than anywhere else. I received an email last Tuesday that the item had been despatched - as of today (9 days later) it has yet to arrive. So I have mixed views. I will be contacting them later today to chase my order.

My phone holder arrived yesterday. To be fair to NiceCans it does look like it was sent on 14 Nov as their email had stated - maybe they need to change their carrier? The product is new and works great. I am extremely disappointed that I received no response to my emails and phone messages and that for much of the time the phoneline was unavailable - customer services is appaling. I won' t be returning as a customer.
  • Hi - I shop a lot on the internet, but I wish I had googled this bunch of cowboys before parting with my money. Familiar story - placed orders, email received confirming order, money taken from bank goods never arrrived. I have emailed twice, left messages on their voicemail, completed their complaints form, and I have now reported them to trading standards. I live in Southampton, so may just pay them a visit. I notice on their homepage they use the Google and Verified by Visa Logos under Shop Reviews and give themselves 5 stars - bet Google and Visa wont be too impressed with this
  • Ordered headphones online which were said to be in stock at that time (money taken from account same day). One week later they apologised for delay but would be posting soon. Next day I received email saying they had been despatched. One more week later still nothing received. In response to my enquiries further email received saying they were out of stock but they would be sending soon as further stock expected shortly.

    I'm not holding my breath.
  • Oh man - why didn't I read this before handing over £60 via PayPal to this outfit. I've heard nothing except that "you'll hear from us in two days" nonsense. HOW are they still trading? I paid through PayPal so hope I can get money back...
  • I have what seems to be the usual experience from these thieves.

Ordered a Gorrilapod SLR stand from them, got an automated (and incorrectly spelled) email saying it had been dispatched. Nothing arrived after 10days. I contacted them by email, no reply.

I then complained through their website, and only when I started threatening to contact trading standards did I get a reply from someone calling David - as mentioned by someone else on this forum 'David@ saying it had been sent, but he would send another one. Still 2 weeks on, and after sending him several further emails asking where is my product, I have heard nothing.

I will be doing a chargeback on my VISA card so that they get investigated by the card company, and I will be calling Southhampton Trading Standards and the local police. This guy's website is not registered as a UK business, so seems very dodgy. Doesn't have a company number so is probably not paying any tax, so mayble I'll inform the inland revenue aswell..

The positive reviews on here and on trustpilot are just rubbish, clearly written by people who work for or have been paid by nicecans.co.uk. I doubt this guy has had any truly satisfied customers, just most people cant be bothered to complain. The sheer number of complaints, follwoing the same pattern, suggest that this is business as usual for nicecans.co.uk

    Don't buy from these thieves.

Here are some keywords to get his google reputation down.

    nicecans scam, nicecans.co.uk fake, nicecans.co.uk theives, nicecans.co.uk nothing receved, don't use nicecans.co.uk
  • Sadly I too did not research and so have only now read this thread. For 5 years now I have done lots of online shopping and have never once faced a problem.

However... yes... now I have been caught in the Nicecans.co.uk trap. My money was taken; nothing delivered and refusing to answer emails, telephone calls, complaints etc. It is obvious they have got away with this dishonesty for so long that they can now be even bolder knowing that they can easily take a person's money and then just refuse to meet the obligation.

I have been advised on how to take forward, which I will do, and I will fight and publicise good, long and hard. I am also going to give Visa and Google a hard time. To me its being able to freely take and retain somebody's money dishonestly that is wrong.

The honest truth however is that this company spoils it for other online companies, because once bitten, one thereafter always will have to check and double check before buying anything online; and when not sure just do not make the purchase.

I am grateful to have read all the postings on this here and thank all the contributors for that.
