Can someone advise me how i can get my money back they arent answering my calls or replying to my emails.
Have another read of post #36.
  • Sorry, don't believe any of the "positives". I ordered something a week ago, it was marked as "in stock" and payment was taken with the order. I've seen nothing since despite several emails and phone calls. The emails and phone calls have not been answered either. If I were in the Southampton area then I'd be knocking on their door right now.

I've sent a final email and requested a response by the end of today. We'll see what happens.

    AVOID!!!!

Entirely your prerogative, but some of us HAVE received our orders through - although in my experience, it took considerable chasing and hassle! I wouldn't order from them again.
  • Well, I've used the Internet for shopping for more than 10 years and this will be my first bad experience, if I don't get the goods. I will post an update if I receive some kind of reply but nothing's happened yet.
  • It was my first bad experience too (apart from ebay, but that's a different story!) - bit harsh to say that you didn't believe any of the positives though!

Well, I won't get into an argument. I've made numerous phone calls and 4 emails and not received a reply to anything, nor have I received the goods, and I'm £76 out of pocket. As I say, I'll post with the outcome.

Today's update (25th Nov.) is that, after informing them that I was commencing steps to reclaim the money, I got three emails .... including a "shipped" note and an email of apology about running out of stock. I'll update when I receive the goods.
They'd do themselves a real favour by replying to emails straight away.
Today's update (5th Dec.) is that I did receive a part order of goods that were not what I expected, and I did not receive the main part of the order. I contacted Nicecans and made them aware of my posting here and also at Trustpilot ... and they said that they'd had stock problems and the goods will arrive with them "next Tuesday" .... I contacted them when the goods were due but I was told that I'd be able to have them shipped to me by Friday..... I asked them that I was returning the part order and not to send the goods and issue a refund. ITHINGY . CO . UK issued a refund but not my postage cost.

I won't be going there again, nor will I go to ITHINGY.
  • I am afraid I have just become another victim of nicecans, I bought an iPad cable for 9.99 with 5 day delivery that was over 2 weeks ago, I had one email confirming my order and they would notify me when it would be sent, I never heard another thing, no answer from the phone line and no reply to either my email or the online form I filled in, I am just glad I didn't order more, do not use this company, they may appear to sell items cheaper but probably one in ten gets their order, it's a lucky dip!! Do not buy your Christmas gifts here or you will be out of pocket with no gifts, I wish I had seen this forum before I had ordered..., beware....
  • I ordered a Motorola lapdock from NiceCans for my phone - it was cheaper than anywhere else and arrived as promised. Item was sealed and I'm very happy with the service. Based on this experience I ordered a car holder for my phone; again it was cheaper than anywhere else. I received an email last Tuesday that the item had been despatched - as of today (9 days later) it has yet to arrive. So I have mixed views. I will be contacting them later today to chase my order.
  • Hi, I ordered from nicecans on the 3/11/11 and paid for the 2-3 day delivery which is misleading anyway because it says 'Your order should arrive in 2-3 working days from postage'
Normally I check out websites before placing orders but because it was less than £10 I just ordered, What a mistake that was. I got the first email acknowleging the order and stating I would recieve an update within 2 days, I have heard nothing in 23 days!! I have sent them 2 web enquiries with no response and have now just sent them a complaint (3rd time lucky :undecided) asking for a refund again. I have received an automated email saying how sorry they are. Yeah right!!
My opinion of this company is they are unreliable and untrustworthy and anyone with any sense should just pay a little more and go with a reputable company. There are just too many people with bad experiences for it to just be a blip.
  • If anyone here has an account on Web of Trust (mywot.com), please add ratings/comments about this site - as it will help flag the URL up with a big red warning.
I almost ordered ~ £60 of phone accessories from this lot. Glad I googled it first, as the WoT toolbar had 'not enough ratings' to flag the site.
