Sugar I brought from these guys too and yep you guessed it nothing has arrived. Brought an iphone case from nicecans.co.uk on Nov 21st and they were £10 cheap than amazon. It cost £19.99. I think I paid on my credit card but is that too low to claim back? I've emailed them again asking for a refund but not holding my breath. Will be contacting Trading standards and others as it is so rubbish. I'm soo good not getting caught by scammers normally. Hey ho.

  • To all those who haven't received their goods and have paid by visa debit/credit .... 1. make every reasonable effort to contact Nicecans. 2. get in touch with your card company and report the transaction - they should advise you of a date by which you should receive the goods. 3. Keep trying to get in touch with Nicecans until that date. 4. If the goods have not been received by the date given, then your card company will credit you with the money and start recovery.
At least that's how I did it ... I got to step 2 and told Nicecans that I had started the recovery process, then they replied. I told them I wished to cancel the order and asked for a full refund - which they did. The did offer to ship something but I declined, I didn't want to get to a point where I may have been dissatisfied with what had been shipped.
  • i placed an order on 28th November. Received an automatic response. have emailed them 3 times this week with no reply. Not good business practise. I have left some suggested responses they may wish to use which though brief; may satisfy my position as a paying customer of theirs.

just a simple and brief answer such as: -

the goods left our facility on 'x' date
the good will be leaving on 'x' date
the stock should arrive on 'x' date and we will ship them to you on 'x' date
i am sorry to say we dont have these items right now; please accept our apologies and we have refunded your account

this post took me 2 minutes of my life... why can't these people do the same?

@conflictivio - very good suggestion and i will take this path if nothing heard...

Go to Trustpilot, a site that reviews online traders - they are Google backed and you can rate nicecans there. I gave them a coruscating review.
Surprise! Within an hour they had got back to me offering a full refund and apologising - as they got an alert from Trustpilot. Clearly this is the only way to 'communicate' with them.
The money has not hit my bank account yet so we'll see. I'll keep you posted and tomorrow will tell you whether or not this is another lie. I now have to cancel my card of course...the details are NOT staying in the hands of that bunch.
So if you want a chance of getting your money back go to trustpilot (Google it as we are not allowed to post links here) and let rip.
PS here is what they said:I have just seen your review as an alert and I am sorry we have driven
you to this out of frustration. I apologise for not contacting to
sooner. we were trying to get these for you but have since taken them
off the website as we ha vent been able to get them back in. Please can you remove the review once the refund shows on your card which should take about 2 days?

I have also ordered from this company, done the whole email, call, complaint form thing. Next to contact my bank to sort out getting my money back...
  • If only I had seen this thread earlier then I would not have used this despicable company.

My 8 year old was looking for a Christmas present for his older brother which he was paying for himself out of his pocket money and decided to look for a new ipod touch case. After some googling we came across this website which looked and sounded great.

We placed the order and received an email stating that we would receive more information within a couple of days and the payment was taken from my bank account immediately.

Needless to say we have not received the case and despite countless phone calls and several emails I have had no response at all.

I am about to contact my bank and trading standards and I will make sure everyone that I know never uses them.

I have 'friends' in their area who have offered to pay them a visit at their premises. I may very well take them up on their kind offer !!!

It is not a lot of money but when an 8 year old was buying it himself it is disgusting that people like this should be allowed to operate.

I hope they sleep well at night !

Did Nicecans know that an eight year old was buying?

They did when I started sending them emails asking where the item was. I got automated replies when instead of sending an email I sent a message throught their 'complaints' department so they will have read my complaint.

It does not appear to make any difference to them whether it was a child or a pensioner that was buying the product. As long as they can rob someone anything is acceptable. Wish they were closer !!!!

Sad thing is I was going to order more products from them as the advertised prices are very good. That is probably because they do not have the goods and prey on innocent people ordering them thinking they are getting a bargain.

My bank, trading standards in their area and office of fair trading will be contacted tomorrow.

How many people have been ripped off by these lot and how much are they going to be in profit before they disappear with the cash.

Wish I'd checked out MSE before I placed my order

Let's see if a comment on Trustpilot can help me too.
