I stupidly did not look for reviews on this site and have been scammed by them. I purchased goods, they took the money, they never sent the goods nor did they reply to my telephone message that I left nor my emails. However, I have contacted my bank to carry out a charge back against them and this is what action I would recommend to everyone who has been scammed by them.0

Hi thankyou for all your messages about nicecans, I thought I was the only one to be duped by them. I ordered a jabra bluetooth too, I then realised that my husband had ordered from someone else, so I contacted niccans, and they sent back that it was ok to cancel. I did not realise until a bit later that they had taken the money out of my card. I sent them an e mail and they said they would give me a refund. Then I found out that my husband had cancelled this item thinking it was coming from nicecans. So I ordered another one. HUGE MISTAKE, They said they had sent it it but I received nothing. So I once again e mailede on several occasions and they finally got back to me to say they would refund the first item, and check with royal mail about the second one. As I live in Southampton, we went to where there address was in Whiteley, guess what? it was only an address to pick up their mail, and when we spoke to the lady on reception there was no particular time or day they did this. Then I found out that because they took the first payment, it made me go overdrawn on my bank account, giving me a £35.00 fee. I am disabled, and did not have the money to lose. I also tried calling and got the same thing, an answer machine every time, and I received nothing back from them. Also several e mails, which were also ignored. They now owe me, together with bank charges, the sum of £84.98p. That is a lot of money when you are on benefits. I hope we can all get our money back som ehow, although I am not holding my breath. NEVER BY FROM THESE FRAUDSTERS, GIVE THEM A VERY WIDE BERTH.0

Please do not bother with sending anyone in, although I would have done the same thing myself, It is only a mailing address, there is no office, and they come in to pick up the mail on different days, and at different times, as we only lived in Southampton, we went over to see them ourselves. Let me know if you find them please.:mad:0

In hindsight: I recently bought a new PC and installed all the useful stuff I had on the old one.
EXCEPT WOT.
It's reassuring that now when I search to buy stuff online, I see lots of sites with the green circles.
Not surprisingly, Nice Cans doesn't have one.0 -
am absolutely livid. Purchased a £36 docking station on 9th november..the money was taken from my account on the same day. I have had no response to several emails and no response from numerous messages left on their answering machine. I have since read the post on this site (i wish i had done so before buying) what i don't understand is ; how is a company like this still allowed to trade? Some of the complaints go back to 2005. Is there no government body et al who can put a stop to these conmen? I have threatened them with posting on my facebook page ( i have several hundred friends who, in turn do too) and asking everyone to copy and paste a message on their facebook page about this company.
thanks

Hi all, well I joined the site today so I could reply here and share my own story. I really, really wish I had done a bit of research on this lot before I made my purchase on nicecans.co.uk, but I guess the fact that I've shopped online for years with no problems whatsoever had lulled me into a false sense of security.
So, like almost everyone else who has written in this thread, I ordered a product from them (worth only £16.99, but it's the principle more than anything) and got the standard 'two days update blah blah' email. Two weeks later, no update and no product. Emailed using the address 'info@' and got no reply, sent two complaints using the complaints form before I did some searching on them and found this thread. I am absolutely livid that this scumbag (and it appears his scumbag wife also) are allowed to continue doing this! I mean, as was said before the complaints against this site go back years and yet it's still open, and they're still robbing people. And let's be clear - this is out and out theft. The site still claims the product I ordered is in stock and are encouraging people to order now to get Christmas delivery in time! So there is still someone updating the site as this is a new message.
I plan to take whatever steps are necessary to recover my money, including a police report and online fraud investigation. Thank you to the poster above me for such a detailed account of who this P.O.S is (and of course where he lives). I have already reported the site today, however I suspect I am not the first.
Nice to know I'm not alone in being ripped off by this filth, maybe combined we can get him locked up - or at the very least brought to book for his crimes.
EDIT: Have just reported the site and it's owner to BBC Watchdog programme. Police report is next, followed by Trading Standards fraud report.0 -
I'd say she's in this up to her neck, probably enjoying all the luxuries a scam like this can provide. This would lead to her being struck off at the very least, prosecuted at best.
And I for one will be laughing my buns off when it happens.
Maybe an anonymous memo needs to be passed to her employers, hmm..... :T0 -
Initially, I thought I'd write off this to experience, but that will let nicecans be winners and me be one of the losers.
Others on this thread have taken steps, so I thought I'd stand up to them too.
Just had phone chat with my credit card company who were sympathetic with the situation and not dismissive at all.
They requested for me to wait for fifteen days for them for delivery of the goods. After that to contact the card company back to discuss a refund of the payment to me.
Some good news, then.0 -
Edited my post, I felt guilty after receiving my goods0

I received an apology email this morning, and then a second email claiming my order has been 'despatched'. From what I've found online, this seems to be a common practice of theirs to delay action being taken.
Won't hold my breath, but will update when / IF my order appears....0
