Ooh rising what we like? I think our pets know when we are poorly and need a cuddle :) Hope you feel better soon.
Thanks ever so much to everyone for the get well wishes. I went in work today and I'm determined to make it in until we break up for half term.
I'm not spreading my germs, my chest gets like this as soon as there's a change in the weather. Obviously if it gets too bad I'll have to stay home...but till then onwards and upwards! I do look pretty grim though!
Ruby who is Bengal Jericho? Sorry if you've already said :)

Ooh that is the boys cat Dizzy - a Bengal called Jericho!:rotfl:

She is just gorgeous - would like to steal her!

Oh they so do, don't they!:D

They've really kept me sane the past few weeks, I can't imagine what it'd have been like being stuck in the house all by myself - I always feel like I've got company as there's at least one 4-legged person around whichever room I'm in:)

i know what you mean rising from the ashes, and dizzy lizzy, as i am in my element when i pop round mums to visit and drop stuff off for the cat thats partly mine that lives with her and the other 4 cats she has.

especially as one will normally curl up with up on the sofa with me and have a fuss and fall asleep thier till i move.

popped into tescos last night on the way to drama and managed to get a damaged box of non bio tablets (with 38 tablets in or 9x2 sealed packs) for 25p and a virtually full slightly damaged 25 wash box of persil non bio for £1.60. bargain and chuffed with myself.

Found out that you can claim for cleaning your work uniform ( link above ) it was in this weeks email from martin & team so I think it could be worth a go after all if you don't ask you'll never know

mum has the washing machine repair man comming today so i'm staying in to help her out but will probably go out tomorrow as the markets on and i think I will pop into the library i'm thinking of learning french to give my brain a work out also its always handy to have another language under your belt even if all you use it for is holidays :rotfl:

hope everyone is ok , have a frugal day everyone

  • Well the moggies certainly have the right idea today. DH got up this morning and the kitties were lined up at the starting line (back door) whizzed out as fast as they could.......realised it was raining, did a small loop of the garden and raced back into the house and curled up in their basket :rotfl: To be perfectly honest when I got up and looked out of the window I could have climbed back into bed :D

I was getting a little worried about the Mr Ts whoopsies as we have hardly had any for a while but last night we managed to get two bags of stir fry 19p each, plums 25p, basket of grapes 40p and a bread loaf for 25p. I know I have a bread maker but if I can buy one for under 30p it is cheaper than making it, probably because I cut the slice too thick though :p

We called in the cooooooop last night and they were throwing away a whole trolley full of food  instead of marking down to a lower price they are quite happy to throw it away instead :( The do mark down but usually not that much. DH even asked if we could buy the packed meat for the cats :rotfl::rotfl:

Next door popped over for a coffee yesterday and as they are a married couple with no children a lot of their disposable income goes on DVDs so now I have my own little lending library :T This is in return for lending mower, worming her cats etc not taking liberties honest :p

Just over two weeks until the clocks go back and I am dreading it :( although we are set for winter and I like the early bedtimes.

Must get a move on as otherwise I will sneak into bed

    PIC x

Just had the customer service lady at tesco refuse to put a 'wombled' receipt onto my Clubcard (it was only for 8 points!). She said she didn't believe it was mine...miserable so and so. I will go back again later this evening when she has clocked off :rotfl:

    On a more frugal note:
    - One of the books I need for my course was on sale on Amazon for 1p :D
    - Won a free pack of skittles in the FB giveaway
    - Just scored 2 free tickets to see 'The Help' at my local flicks - I would have paid to see this film anyway, I love the book and was eagerly anticipating the film

    :money:
