The best baking recipe book ever (in my opinion! lol) has got to be the Be-Ro Recipe Book, ok so it isn't the most fancy book out there, but it has classic recipes that you will turn to again and again. Best of all it costs around under £2 :money:.

My Mum had one of these at School, and I got one from School too. You can buy them from ebay and I have spotted them before in Morrisons in the asile where the flour is.

Everyone should have a Be-Ro recipe book! lol

    Zippy x

I almost bought that in Morrisons a few weeks ago but then put it back as I figured I have enough already, but might go back for it now after your recommendation!

I have the Bero book too and use it loads. It's a bargain!
  • Angela your spider cake looks fab - plenty of frosting, just how we like it in our house!

Wow! All these cakes are amazing!! I am very impressed and inspired to do more baking.
I'd just like to share the cake my Mum & I made for my son's 1st birthday earlier this month. Nowhere near the standard seen here but I was super pleased with it and it went down well.

The Hungry Caterpillar. Very cool! My daughter has requested a Hungry Caterpillar cake for her 3rd birthday in two weeks time. So looking forward to making a cake for us for a change instead of other people lol

    :)
  • I noticed the slice of salami, the watermelon etc. I think it is a genius idea for a little child's party. well done!

Thanks. I did all the food from the book and put little tags on them with the wording from the book, it was well received.
