    Hi

I am organising a bake sale at work to raise funds for Movember.

I want to do cupcakes with moustache decorations and cookies in the shape of moustaches. So I am really looking for something like chocolate moustaches / moustache cookie cutters (or any ideas on how to achieve moustache related decoration!

Any ideas on where I can get these items or any advice much appreciated!!

If you print off an outline of a moustache and transfer it onto card or acetate, then cut out the shape, you could then use the stencil you are left with as a guide over plain iced cupcakes to sprinkle cocoa over - like a cappuccino. On chocolate cakes, you could sprinkle with icing sugar.
    hope that makes sense!

And you could use the moustache shape as a template to cut out rolled icing.

  • For the moustaches a baker on cupcake wars did some by piping melted chocolate into very basic moustache shapes on greaseproof/wax paper using templates that were printed on card underneath - given a little while to set they looked great

    Hi

I leave mine once marizaned for about 3 days before I put the icing on it needs to dry so the oil from the marzipan doesnt seep through the icing I usually ice it about 3 days before xmas it will keep for ages in a air tight container
