Hi Guys another lurker here........
I have been lurking since the very first post and i have loved everyones cakes and cupcakes.
I did my first cake in january and have since done another 2 and did my first cupcakes in february and have done loads since.
I have a pressing question which is bugging the life out of me - how do you colour your buttercream without it curdling or seperating. I have used supermarket food colouring and the food colouring paste but my buttercream goes nasty.I have 2 gorgeous kids0 -

Hi!
Everyones cupcakes look really good, I love the different toned icing!
I haven't posted any pictures for ages, I will get round to it at some point!
Just wanted to ask you a question, I'm making my boyfriend a birthday cake tomorrow, I keep seeing that plain yogurt makes the cake more moist, but I have no idea how much to put in!
I'm doing a 8 oz cake mixture, does anyone know how much yogurt I should put in?
Thankyou!0 -
