I use paprika Nat get more range of skin tones with that I think. Is hubby's cake made yet? Bin thinking about you today it's exciting hope you are enjoying it :-)
I've now caught up completely on "part one" of this thread. Wow so many talented people out there. Some still posting and some newbies too. I get the feeling that part two is friendlier and less competitive :-) (IMHO)
Ive hard a trip to the seaside this week and my DH made a slight detour through St Anne's near Blackpool so I could call into Party Animal store. I've seen it many times online and only just realised where is it! It's a proper Aladins cave for cake decorators :-) Although you don't get the tips etc that I get from my local store who are never too busy to help and share their knowledge. But it was good to have a look.
    Happy baking

Wow all the cupcakes look fab and sooooo yummy:-)

Thanks again Nanamia! Not started the cake yet. Got some bees to make for my friends wedding cake topper and going to start the cake on Tuesday (or monday night!).

I've bought a few things from Party Animal too. We're going to Blackpool for a few days in October - I may need to take a wee day trip!

No cupcakes made-ended up at the hospital yesterday. So not going to work today. Will maybe make some another day to take to work. Now DH is feeling ill, and the dog has something wrong with his paw too. Never rains but it pours!! :(

Britbok and Bindiboo yummy, scrummy cupcakes they look fab :-)

Sharalee hope it's nothing too serious and that you are feeling better very soon. Sending hugs and healing vibes :-)

Ooh Nat your wedding cake topper sound very interesting ( hoping you'll be able to post a piccie) I've got very cute looking bumble bees on March of the cupcake calander keep looking at them but not got any further than that! Need to gain a few hours (not happy about loosing one this morning) possibly an extra day a week and I could keep on top of things..... Or then again I'd probably be just the same trying to do too much and leaving things til the last minute as my DD says "it's the way you roll"

I'm always at the last minute too Nanamia! I was nightshift last night so very grateful for the clocks going forward!!! I'm more worried about the bees than hubbys cake!

Aaaw Nat don't be it takes all the fun out of it if you get wound up about it. If a team full of football players is daunting then a few buzzy bees isn't gonna be tricky for you is it. Can't wait to c the photos tho :-) once you get yourself started you'll amaze even yourself I'm sure.

Hi everyone, loving the cupcakes Bindiboo, britbok and sharalee, they look awesome!

So, finally, I put the cake making curse behind me, and managed to make my own birthday cake for work. Took it today and nobody wanted me to cut it, they said it was too beautiful to cut!! Once I had though, it didnt last very long!! Here are some pics -

Ooh such pretty cupcakes guys! And I love the hello kitty cake too!
I mst be mad because I've set myself the challenge of making a box I Muppets cupcakes to take up to my nephews at Easter. I've done virtually no modelling other than a penguin and polar bear so could be interesting!
