Problem with cyclists

Get your car off the road, they are an eyesore blocking the street.0

We have the same problem and I don't know the answer, the parents of these kids just don't give a damn.
But I wish you'd used a different title - "Problem with Cyclists" makes it look like another cyclist-bashing thread when actually it's a problem with poorly-supervised kids.Long-haul Supporters DFW 120

They are kids and kids ride bikes on their street. You probably did the same.
Park your car on your own property and not the public highway! Problem solved. If you don't have that facility perhaps you chose the wrong house.
Sorry, but too many people don't consider their own parking needs properly these days and rely on the public road for parking.
Irrelevent, I had a bike, and managed to get through my childhood with out damaging other people's property, and if I did, my parents would have paid out, and likely made me repay it over time.
Your point is moot, so because you don't have a drive it's perfectly alright for brats to damage your property and the parents not to step up, and be responsible for their spawn.
Charming individual you are.0 -
Is your car on the road or on the path? if on the path then i lose sympathy for you - If on the road - have a word with their parents? tell them that you have CCTV and will be sending them the repair bill?0

The car is being damaged by kids using the street as a playground and you're blaming the OP because he owns a car?.0 -
Is this not one of the reasons Community Support Officers were invented. Could it be worth having a word with one and they might have a word with the children / parents? Perhaps provide them with evidence and bills to support your argument.0

It seems more reasonable to use the street as a playground than a parking facility to me. Maybe I'm wrong about this. I don't think so though.0 -

Really? And here's me thinking streets are for cars and parks/plagrounds are for playing.
Live and learn eh?You have been reading.....another magnificent post by garethgas :beer:0 -
The fact that you live in an area where you feel the need to have CCTV cameras suggest to me that kids accidently damaging your car is the least of your problems.
Either that or you are the problem0 -
You say the kids are age 3-15. Surely this would be classed as criminal damage. You have repeatedly asked them to stop, is it time to report it to the police? Especially if you have CCTV evidence. Quite frankly, any kids over the age of 7 or 8 shoudl know better and maybe a quick shock would do them good. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
