Hey guys, sorry for my absence lot of travelling this week, a lot of hotels and I seem to have slipped back to bad habits. Can't even bring myself to go on the scales this morning as I have been a total pig this week
Well done to everyone though, you've all done brilliantly to keep going0 -
Still 11 stone 10lbs for me. I've not done anything this week as battling a cold. But I haven't put any weight on, so I'm plenty happy with that. My SHRED DVD has arrived and I'm hoping I'm on top form to continue my running plan again on Monday, with the SHRED DVD on the 'rest' days.
3.5 weeks until I'm 39, would love to be under 11 stone by then but I think that's an unhealthy goal. At my current weight (height 5' 2") is a 10lb loss in 3.5 weeks unrealistic?

So.......
I've lost nothing.
nothing at all.
Better than a gain but sucks majorly. I did try rather hard but obviously not hard enough.
Today's things:
Money on CC
and EAT FRUIT!! I think I'm holding onto stuff and that's why I'm not losing, feeling a bit bloated which is lovely so plan not to eat carbs today and see if that helps...
need to find out what are carbs and what ain't!! haha!!
Have a great Friday everyone and keep it up guys!!!

well done frodo, 3lb is great! and to beanie lou thats half a lb better than me
@ Orange i have also been bad this week and last hence no real change! I was in a hotel for 3 days and the room service and meals out got the better of me!
@bobble hat if you are exercising too that is pretty realistic, i've lost that much before when following slimming world in consecutive weeks so good luck and i'll be watching closelymaybe you can give me some tips if you pull it off!
@ Rd chick like you say staying the same is better than a gain so good luck for this week
@elsie, you can do it hun like someone else said put july behind you, we're all here to offer support, and you sound so busy with work you probably haven't got the time to fully concentrate on weight loss so just take it slow and cut out things to begin with, it toook me 3 weeks to wean myself off my daily chocolate binge :embarrassed: but i feel so much better for it , good luck hunny

So this morning I am about to do the shred DVD AND go to parkrun (a group of people gather at 9am on a Saturday morning to run around a park/garden/woodland for 5 kilometres!) I have yet to complete it as it kills me because you can't help but jog with everyone else! It will be good to go though as my boss is obsessed and always badgers me about it!
Last night we went to the pub after work and I had nachos for tea... Felt like I was going to die after eating a quarter of a bowl. The bf had a few beers and thus was very sick at 20 to 1... He's such a lightweight! He woke me up to ask if he could use my bathroom (yeah we have separate ones... And I had just bleached mine!) because he wasn't feeling well... I said yes and off he went to throw up... Sounded horrid but I hate sick... Anything else I can look at but not that!! I am actually scared of it when it's myself but have managed to train myself for it not to happen. I was 15 the last time I was sick and before that I was about 6!
Nice!
Happy Saturday everyone!!Life is too short not to love what you do.0 -
Hi everyone!
What a busy week again!
August:
05 Aug: 208.6 - Lost 2.3
I think last week's gain must have been a blip as lost 2.3 pounds this week!
It's so lovely to have been paid and have all lovely fresh foods in the house again, I've been living off fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, salads for lunches with chicken or mackerel, and new pots with runner beans and some main thing like salmon for tea.
I also did my first 2 walks in a long time this week, and my knee was fine! 3miles in 45 mins on Monday - very slow, and 4.2 miles in 65 mins on Tuesday, again very slow (compared to what I was - e.g. the Tuesday one would have been 57 minutes ish before I stopped walking). Unfortunately, I really pushed it Tuesday and although my knee was fine, my left shin is f**ked. So although I'd planned to do Wednesday, I had a night off instead. Didn't plan to do anything Thursday or Friday, as Friday's I NEVER do, and Thursday I was at my friends for dinner and drinks and stayed over. She lives 5 mins from work which was great, had a little lie in! Of an HOUR!!! :j
I had a date last night.
Very lovely guy from work.
We're keeping it a secret for now. :shhh:
We had dinner at a pub near me after our "first Friday of the month drink with colleagues from work".
He's very nice............... (and he paid!)
Thanks for everyone's messages of support after my disastrous result in July, I'm feeling much more positive as I've done fairly well this week.
You guys are all doing fantastically! :j
have a lovely weekend all
