well done mandz that is a great loss!! I would suggest you rest in between work outs until you have built up strength and stamina for it? Or on the rest day do something like yoga on the wii fit, that will stretch you out and is not cardio and is also great for toning?MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. Hey guys,
I’m back from Silverstone. Had an excellent time, despite the rain. Made lots of bad food choices (I blame the weather) but also did lots of walking, but I don’t think that outweighed the terrible Ben n Jerry’s ice cream twist thing I had on Friday. I’m too embarrassed to share what that entails, but its probably about a million calories.
Anyway, back to work today. Have organised a healthy lunch and back on water rather than pepsi (oh how I miss pepsi) and I won’t weigh in until Friday, although I think I’ve put a lb or two back on.
And as suspected, I did spend some ££ while I was away as I desperately needed a new mclaren back pack (my old one is falling to bits) and I had to get a mclaren jumper, because it’s the first time in about 4 years the mclaren stuff has looked good and not like tinfoil.
Well done to everyone on their losses and savings
Back to frugality now though L0 -

Yes i know, i think it will be better for me to take my time, i like to think i have quite a bit of stength but my stamina doesnt quite match it. I tried doing the yoga on the wii before but it really winds me up that you have to pick them one at a time instead of just going through them all.
I have got loads of fitness games for the wii and im just trying to do one for a bit then go onto another for a bit, so that my routine doesnt become predictable and at least then it can be varied and i wont get bored.:)PAD Maker0 -
Hi all
Haven't been around much, but have just read through the posts and everyone is doing really well with the weightloss, so a big well done all.
I did weight myself friday and was really annoyed that I had put on weight  Don't really understand it as I know that I ate less, drunk a lot less wine and exercise so much more, so wasn't at all happy. It might only have been a couple of pounds but to me it could have been a couple of stones. I know a I had blips last week and was really tired, but on the whole I was so much better. Anyway no point complaining about it now its happened and its time to move on. However I have only come to this realisation after a weekend of eating and drinking
But on Sunday I had a huge wakeup call. I mowed the lawn and a few things round the house in the afternoon and then sat down, all was fine until I tried to move my leg and I had a shooting pain in my knee. I could not bend my knee without the excrutiating pain. I have always had 'crunchy' knees that sounds awful, but not really any pain, except in the last couple of weeks. But this pain made me realise that I was putting too much strain on my knees with being so overweight and if I wanted to end up not being able to walk I may as well carry on the way I was. So after resting the knee I woke up to no pain and although i have had a few minor pains since then its not been too bad. So Monday morning I started afresh and weighed in again and found that despite all the food and wine over the weekend I was back to where I had started, so if only I had been good over the weekend.
So onwards and upwards, I have started again and doing really well, its like something has clicked in the brain and everything makes sense. I am writing down everything I eat, have ordered the Shred dvd which has just arrived and am going to get up early to do it.
I know I shouldn't have but I did have a quick jump on the scales and it is showing a loss, so hoping for good news when I weigh in on Friday.
So far, haven't paid off anything off my debts as OH hasn't been paid for a job he's done and I haven't had payday yet - my first in 15 months! But once I get paid I will be able make some payments and hope to reach my target.
Well enough from me I have to get back to work - not really feeling like it as I know its going to drag, but at least its the middle of the week.June £25 a day 850.94/750

I am in dire need of chocolate or a biscuit or both! Fed up, want to go home.
(sorry, just needed to vent and stay away from the vending machines)0 -
I have started by going for a 45 minute walk with the double pram, will take the double buggy next time as its heavier! I cant afford to buy more food so for the time being i will be using DD1's plate for my tea this will mean smaller portions.
I dont have any scales either yet so will be unable to weigh myself until I buy some. Where is the cheapest place to buy them?Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
Think Asda or Tesco do them pretty cheap, only a couple of quid!
Orange - don't deny yourself from anything but have it in MODERATION!!!xxx
