Portion control is (yet another of) my issues too.

Dartmoor - you must be somewhere round about me then?? I'm in Torbay. I love Dartmoor, take the dog up quite a bit.

Think I've done ok today. Been to work so earned some £££ and only had water and carrot batons to eat so shouldn't have increased lb lb lb. Had left over roast beef in tortilla wrap and home made cole slaw. According to ye olde calorie counter, I've still got 200 cals left for the day (I had a big brekkie and full fat mayo on the coleslaw)
Hehe orangesmartie I'm in Torbay too!!! I love Dartmoor, and try to get up there whenever I can!

I have resisted the lure of the scales thus far! I want to weigh myself but I don't want to at the same time as I did rubbish on Saturday and Sunday, so I need a few days to try and rectify the situation before I see how I'm doing. Have been good so far today! When I was asked if I wanted any chocolate from the shop I said no and just drank my water whilst everyone else guzzled chocolate! :D

Not a good day from me. Sent OH to the shop at lunchtime as it was raining so I stayed in work and when he got home he had not only bought the bread and milk I'd asked for, he also got doughnuts, crisps and wine! The reason - he wanted to make the trip worthwhile  So not very MSE and not great for the diet. I had already had a blueberry muffin that DD made in school and she had also made macroni cheese so we had that for tea. Now the good thing oto do would be to say thank you very much and not give in, but the minute they are in the house they start calling me until I gave in, so bottel of wine drunk (shared with OH), doughnuts half gone - haven't seen OH eat one yet, and crisps finished. :naughty:

Exercise wise I did my dvd when I got home - think I will definately be feeling my abs tomorrow. Didn't do much walking because of the weather as it chucked it down today, not the best excuse I know but at least I did something today. But on the positive I did take lunch into work today.

TBH I am feeling a bit down today and fed up :embarasse Not really sure what the problem is but I guess its because I don't feel like I am getting anywhere. Seem to be paying money out left, right and centre at the moment, the kids always seem to need money for something or the other, OH is doing a fair few DJ jobs so travelling lots so we need more petrol than budgetted for (and he still hasn't been paid for the last 3 DJ jobs he's done, but that's a whinge for another day) and I need new clothes for work as I am having to recycle the same few outfits, but don't feel lioke we have the moeny for it. I can't control my eating right now, I do well during the day, then get home and start picking because I am tired. I haven't got organised since starting work, so haven't menu planned or shopped properly so it seems to be constant trips to the shop. The stupid thing is I am so organised at work even though I have only just started, but can't bring that skill home with me.

Guess I am just having one of those days, so I am just going to shut up now, go to bed and hope to wake up feeling a bit more positive in the morning.

Aww Sparkerly I am also having a bit of a rubbish day too. Work is so lonely, no one wants to hold a conversation with me for more than 5 mins.. Need a new job...

I ate way too much today, also really tired, think the exercise and second job is kicking in and I'm hanging!

Aww we all have days like that so don't worry about moaning (i always do it)

If dh goes to the shop in this house, he goes with a list and CASH! that way he can't overspend...my dh used to do the same as yours, spend on rubbish and wine when i'm trying to watch my diet (and purse strings).

I don't know what clothes you already have, but if they are suits can you not just buy some cheap shirts/nice tops from asda/tesco or somewhere else that is cheap to make them a little more varied. Don't know if you have charity shops near you but i am always picking up bargains there and good quality stuff too :)

well done on doing the exercise dvd x

Hope you feel better in the morning!:A

    Goodmorning wonderful people!

So... Had a bit of a rubbish day diet wise, I ate 4 doughnuts... 4 ...what a fatty... So I was dreading the scales this morning... But I stayed the same!!

No shredding today, giving the body a bit of a rest as I was so tired yesterday and my body is a bit stiff so I'll be back on it tomorrow :)

    Have a lovely day!!
