I weigh myself every morning- my scales remembers me and puts a green or red light on depending on which way I go... so I prefer to only weigh myself once a day, however when living at home I did it a lot. I guess there's no harm in it but make sure you always get your true weight first thing (after a wee!) xxx

App should tell you when you first using it. There is a bit that does your goals and works out your cal intake.
It worked out 1800 for me, now this is enough for me to lose weight on but i am only using about 1500 and i am eating plenty, just the healthier choices are less.
Its Fab i love it.

Hi All
I have paid £90 towards my debts today. The weight side of things is not going so well. Today I have eaten a load of rubbish and the weekend was no better. I am just under 5ft tall and weigh in at 14st 12lbs.
I gave up on dieting a while ago as they just don't work for me(I have tried many including the wierd and wonderful) but at the moment even the effort invovled in making a food plan and having to decide what to eat just feels like too much. As a result I am picking up the quickest and easiest things which, inevitably, are junk food. Also, it is almost like I forget that I need to make good food choices and today for example after making cupcakes with the kids I unconsiously shoved several in my mouth ( not all at once) with a cup of tea. I need to get some sort of routine going where I sort of re-set each day and remind myself of my priorities. I am going to do this every morning, although I am not sure what form his wil take yet. If anyone else has some ideas I would appreciate any advice.
I am heading off on holiday for the next two weeks or so but I think I haev internet access where i am and will try to keep up with this thread each morning as part of my new routine.
Best of luck to eveyone.0 -
I'm just popping in to say ice cream free for three days!! wooo!! That's a huge achievement for me. Really craving now though, but there is none in the house thank god. But i'm going to go to bed to avoid any temptations.
Not sure I added my starting weight, which is 18st 6lb :(. I'm gonna weigh in on Wednesday this week as I'm off to Silverstone for the grand prix this weekend, so no scales and not a particularly healthy diet ahead lol0 -

Well done for being ice-cream free. For me it is refined sugar that I need to stay away from.
I have just got up early and done a small Yoga session as part of my new morning routine. Found it really hard going but know I just need to build up. Off to make a healthy lunch now.

I did, put my weight it etc but it said 2400 calories, unless I have done it wrong, but not sure how you can! I thought 1600 would be a good goal, I do alot of excercise so this might go up by 100 depending on how I feel!
Went for my first jog last night, and to my utter surprise really enjoyed it. Ok well I walked for 5 minutes and jogged for 1 and repeated 5 times, but I was huffing and puffing in the last set and climbing the stairs home!!
Today I walked to work and spinning class is tonight. I think my aim will be to do at least one set of exercise a day, a good 30 mins worth.
Food wise, I forgot lunch and breakfast (sat in fridge at home) but will not be tempted by bad food in canteen today……..i hope.
Have a healthy day everyone J
