Buffy posted at work yesterday to give you a hug but want to post properly now.

I am so proud of you for getting debt free. You have done absolutely brilliantly but it has obviously been really hard on you at times so you owe it to yourslef to enjoy this holiday. Tell her what you're looking forward to about it, set some ground rules for if you want time on your own and do what chev says re the school chat!

Re your ex, honey it's hard and I dont know the full circumstances but if he's not coming back for sure (and I think deep down you know that him coming back is not a good thing) then you have to one day at a time move onwards and upwards. Everyone here is rooting for you and some of the loveliest people on MSE have your back.

Lastly, about your beach holiday. I can GUARANTEE that there will be people on the beach who are MUCH bigger than you not bothering at all. I see it every day at work! (Not being a hypocrite I'll tell you now that I'm not one of them and Im on a health kick for mine but thats just me) Go and enjoy. You absolutely deserve it!!!!!

    Hey Buffy
I can sympathise with the bleugh ness. Just when I think I am over this bally cold I find I do what we did today (go walking around a mall), and I am absolutely wrecked tired again. Grrrr.

I am sorry that EX is worming his way around your brain again. I don't know what to suggest, other than now that you are debt free:j:j:j, that you do exactly that and have some therapy. You know that he is no good for you and I can understand how frustrated you must feel, that you are 'allowing' yourself to still feel something, when you know logically that it isn't going to go anywhere EVER. Or rather no where you WANT a relationship to go.....

    Hugs mate

Hi Buffy, congrats on becoming Debt Free and happy new diary. Enjoy your holiday you really deserve it x :p
  • Finally I FEEL BETTER! :j <- I can do that now! and have managed to eat all three meals and have none make a reappearance...........;)

I missed two really good social events this weekend which is annoying and I have had a headache today but I think that is dehydration rather than anything else.

Yesterday was spent have a good tidy up and move round of the furniture and the guinea pigs, my room looks a great deal lighter and feels better. Eventually I want to get a smaller desk

so that I can move the Guinea pigs to a better position in the room - no sun (I draw the curtains:) at the moment )

I was knackered after that tho! I did manage to dye my hair and have a bit of a Goddessing session before I collapsed in my bed - lovely sleeping in a tidy room with happy wheeking guinea pigs!

Unfortunately work reared its ugly head this morning but there are nine days till the break. My time table is having many changes tho so I suspect I will spend some time prepping for that. Still no management for 6 weeks, how many jobs can say that huh?

Shred wise I have given up for the moment, I do actual like the dvd and think I could do it just at the moment at the end of term I am SO tired. I think I will restart when I return from Greece......

I need to look at the money since we are heading towards the middle of the month and cc bill (have been using it for petrol) is due soon.

so I shall be back soon

  • 380.20 <- I think some of that is my friend's birthday and holiday clothes shopping but a lot of it is on petrol............:eek:

hmmm. I have paid it and am still in credit AND have my 1150 in savings. It is going to be tight but luckily I get paid for my second job early so I *should* be ok..........I think I shall aim to keep the 1000 pounds in savings for the whole summer. I also have pots (a la Hypno - thank you xx) for Union fees, Pets, Holidays, Birthdays and Car which I am paying some money into each month. I think I might have to put a base amount in say 100 pounds for each (except union fees - that is actually worked out to be paid on time) and pay 10 pounds or 20 pounds to each one. Thinking about it if I pay money in to the Car, Birthdays and Pets' accounts (the 100 pounds) that will be enough the rest can build up a bit..... The car will be taking up a lot of money - summer with out working windows is not funny!!! and of course insurance...........

right that is all the future, for now I have plans and I am in credit. I will happily settle for that!!

    Hey Buffy

Glad you are feeling better. Loving that desk. I was looking for something similar to that. Ended up getting one from eBay in the end.
