Why on earth has this thread not been moved to the " It's Gone, but was it any good?" sub-forum?
Any thread about Argos seems to get whisked away in the blink of an eye to the Argos sub-forum but this one about a "bargain" no one seems to have managed to order for over a week because it was removed from the vendors web site just sits here festering. Why?Joe

Anyone else heard from them? I still have the full amount taken from my CC.
The Account/E-mail/Order Status/Unable to login etc...was dealt with very early on in the thread? When some thought maybe the whole mixer thing was a scam.
Surely if they have taken the funds that puts you in a stronger position. You have a contract and they have taken the cash. Now they have to provide the goods.
Somebody early in the thread said that they were expecting more stock from their supplier in the New Year. Maybe we will get them then?Never ever pay full price for anything and question everything at least twice!0 -
Well I am eager to see what tomorrow brings. This should be the first working day after the xmas break and so if they are not going to deliver, there is no reason why an email shouldn't be sent telling us as such.
There has been no action on my account since 20th Dec when status was changed to 'order received and being processed'.
I've still got my fingers crossed. :cool:Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0 -
Hopefully there will be something today....0

They aren't replying to e-mails and at the moment I am reluctant to call but fear this could turn sour....any views?Consider anything only don't cry!0 -
Thet arnt accepting calls now, i WOULD inform ts!0

I've not heard anything from them apart from email confirming order being processed. My credit card has only been debited postage, plus small item. I contacted trading standards and thay say their email confirming the price was a contract. If they are unable to honour the contract, they must give me the opportunity to cancel. I would be on stronger ground if they'd actually charged me £46.50 for the food processor.
I don't think I'm going to get anywhere with this one, but I'll wait and see what they say. I would have liked it, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it.0 -
Same here, I'm not going to stress but if they aren't going to honour the orders, they could have handled things much better....here's hoping for some word soon.Consider anything only don't cry!0
