    Hi Chatty,

Have you tried the machine yet? The more I look at the picture, the more I like it. Thanks so much for the find.

I tried it out last night, had to wait til my hubby came home from working away to see it - as he didn't know that he had bought it for me!! He was going to buy me one for Xmas hence why I was searching for one in the first place. I think I have just won the argument that goes....... so you still have a budgetted £200 to spend on me for xmas off you go to the shops.

The machine works fine it has a 20 year guarantee with it too, but you need to enter barcode from box on guarantee card so write it down before you bin the box or you too will be back amongst the bins.

I have more chopped onions, carrots and potatoes than I know what to do with.... soup anyone?

The mixer bit looks very cool too, but I didn't try that

These people have now taken £9.70 from my card - more than half of that is postage and the reast an item I bought to take the original order over £50 to get free postage.

Same here. I have sent an e-mail to them asking them to clarify why my whle order states it has been recieved and processed but they have only debited the extras plus postage instead of contacting me to inform me of what they have done and giving me the option to proceed or cancel.

I think I will give Trading Standards a call on Wednesday for their opinion before I try and contact Cooks Kitchen again
  • How can we do a webshot of their terms and conditions for future use? I also have Order received and being processed, which is so frustrating, because i dont know if i am getting a mixer or not.

Lets form an action group !!!

Damn that I missed out on this. I have got the Cuisinart Professional Ice Cream Maker and the Professional Waffle Maker and they are excellent quality and to use.
  • I was really optimistic with this as I had had e-mails from them regarding delivery in the New Year but have since checked my credit card and discovered that (as with many others), they have charged me for the additional items I'd ordered as well as the delivery charge. I am NOT happy, I don't want to cancel the order though for obvious reasons but as so many have said, the status of my order says received and processed. I'll be e-mailing for clarification and will update this site when I hear back.

  • Did my first r n r today.
    Bagged myself 3 films
    Alfie
    Machinist
    Thelma and Louise
All of which were down on the product as being 3 for £18, but they went through at 2 for £16 and so i was overpriced 96p.

Got all my money back and they've made lovely christmas prezzies.:T

i think you are on the wrong thread
  • Just checked my bank online and they have taken £9.90 - which includes the delivery charge. Does anyone think we have a chance? Some were sent out at that price. I would have really loved one of those mixers for Christmas.
Also, why no communication from them, explaining the error.....
