Just checked my credit card...the dosh has gone out to the Cook's Kitchen.
Looking hopeful, without counting my liquidised chickens, it just a shame about missing the waffle maker offer deadline...selling that on, would have offset the high cost of this nicely!0 -
I ordered the prcessor on the 20th and added a £4.95 Julienne slicer to make it up to £51 to avoid the postage. i got the 2email saying it was being porocessed, However my credit card company tells me the C(r)ooks Kitchen has only taken the money for the slicer and the postage! they will not answer the phone or reply to emails.0

Sorry for the typos in the previous post - hard to concentrate with steam coming out my ears! I am very, very annoyed at this company changing my order without consultation and charging me £4.95 postage for an item that would cost less than 50p to send. Where do we stand on this? What are my rights?0

I don't think they have a leg to stand on. Don't blame you for being annoyed. If they try it on me, I'll go berserk at them.TL0

I could have lived with them mailing and cancelling because it was a mistake (and cos they are apparently a small firm) but any sympathy for them has gone out the window. I suspect there will be quite a few of us on here getting tore into them in the near future.
Bad Puns to be used here
1) Lets put them into Liquidisation!
2) Lets resort to the due Legal Process(or)
3) Blame it on a MIX up0 -
I placed an order around 5.30pm on Wednesday for the food processor and an additional item to get the free postage. I just phoned my visa company and they said Cooks Kitchen had reserved an amount for the additional item plus full postage (£10.45), as others reported. According to the visa company I have to wait until the payment is actually claimed before they will investigate and take action.0

As you can see I am also a new poster, however I have been looking at the forum for some months.
I saw Chattys first post on the cuisinart and ordered one within about an
hour of the original post.
I have just got back at 5pm on Friday to find it waiting for me outside my back door.
Too good to be true? not in this case, thanks Chatty and let me know if you spot anything else at such crazy prices.0 -
They have claimed the full amount from my credit card so lets sit tight and wait and see.....0
