Last night people were panicking about if this company/website is just a scam, today we are worried about if this company will honour the sale.
I think we can blame it on 'this is too good to be true' LOL
Anyway, I will just forget about it and go for a walk insteadRelax everyone! I know I am

I totally agree! If we get it we do, if we don't then so-be-it. We won't have lost anything.Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0 -
I bet they'll honour the orders where they've charged the card and cancel the ones still waiting to be processed.TL0

Ive just spoken to the cooks kitchen,
told em i was worried bout my order etc no email cept this morning, she told me what i had ordered and sed it would be delivered in the first or second week in jan.....but my card would be charged first........i havent had a mail saying confirmed etc but she sed your order has gone thru, so hopefully it will happen....fingers crossed........hope this helps0 -
Status changed to "order recieved and being processed". Shame if I fall at the last hurdle. A bit concerned they can't spell "received".Reading this signature is a waste of time0

Absolutely right. Head down, gob shut and sit tight. By telephoning them you are alerting them to the problem and they could cancel all or part of the orders that have not been sent. While I recognise there are legal implications in doing this a lot of companies will do it.
I've just been catching up with the posts. To be honest, if you check other similar situations where this has happened a familiar pattern is occuring.
The next thing that happens is that people will actually read the T+Cs of the transaction then start threatening legal action and reporting the matter to Trading Standards. Breach of contract, misuse of financial details etc..Never ever pay full price for anything and question everything at least twice!0 -

A retailer once took payment via my credit card, cancelled the order three weeks later and I still had not had a refund a month after cancellation. They broke their own T+Cs and the law but weren't bothered.
Then they tried all the excuses under the sun to get out of the contract. It didn't work, they had to settle eventually but it took three months.
I'm sitting tight and waiting until New Year. I'm hoping my order got through before they realised. Also, by not contacting and alerting them I'm hoping I will slip through the net!
I'm off for a mince pie and a single malt. I'll check back later. Fingers crossed and sit tight...Never ever pay full price for anything and question everything at least twice!0 -
