Sqeaky explains all in the White vinegar threads
"We could say the government spends like drunken sailors, but that would be unfair to drunken sailors, because the sailors are spending their own money."

WOW! After trawling through here and hearing great things, I thought I would give it a go on my old enamel bath. We live in a hard water area and most limescale products can't be used on enamel. It's amazing! I honestly thought the only remedy would be a new bath. Genius! :j0

It's so cheering when you can find a cleaning-product which actually works and is dirt-cheap, isn't it? What vinegar won't shift, the answer is usually washing-soda crystals or bicarb. Cheap as chips and so satisfying.
Welcome to Old-Style by the way.0 -
Thank you
I've been a lurker for a while, mostly for recipes. Definitely addicted

Where do you find it cheap?
I've just found bottles of cheap malt brown vinegar. I haven't seen white that hasn't been quite expensive.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D
