The malt vinegar is diluted too. Both are about 4% acetic acid, so if you dilute it further, you're massively reducing its potency...plus the odour will last longer...but hey, whatever works for you. I find the trigger spray very convenient for so many jobs.
Both are preferable to all these 'wonder cleaners'. What people don't realise is that we NEED some bacteria to keep us healthy. Wasn't that the punch line/message in 'War of the Worlds'? Those 99.9% cleaners also kill the good bacteria. BTW, what's the .1% of germs??? If you could invent something that kills them, you'll be quids in.0 -
I think ordinary soap and water kills that many germs...
..and it's that 0.1% that we usually have to worry about :eek:Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Can anyone tell me where to find this magical white vinegar?
I've searched in supermarkets but I can only find either white wine vinegar or a clear distilled malt vinegar.
I presume it can't be the latter, as it still stinks strongly of vinegar so you wouldn't want to clean your home or condition your clothes with it.

My mum picked me some up from wilkinsons, it was in a spray bottle and I think it was about 86p down the cleaning aisle:Dto be updated:;)0

It's the clear distilled stuff. Used in the washing machine there is no smell. Used as a cleaner there is a smell but it soon dissipates - some people can tolerate it, sosome people can't."Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning how to dance in the rain." ~ Vivian Greene0

There is no wilkos in Norwich0 -
The stuff in the spray bottles is usually diluted - it's not a superior product and you'd be better off getting it from a supermarket and diluting it yourself"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning how to dance in the rain." ~ Vivian Greene0
