    Hi,

I am a bit puzzled about white vinegar, where can i get it?

all i find in the supermarket is white wine vingear.

I have distilled vinegar which is clear, is this the stuff?

If not where can i get it cheaply?

    thanks

Thats the stuff - just plain normal distilled vinegar....

I think people buy it in larger quantities from Cash and Carrys or Asian supermarket type places, but I dont know where any of those are in my area yet so cant help on the prices you'd be likely to find it in there but hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge will be along to help you soon xx

The term white vinegar is a misnomer, it is not white, it is clear, like water

I suspect "white" is used to differentiate it from "brown" malt vinegar, but clear or distilled vinegar is what it really is as xx_Jo_xx says

Yes, I use distilled vinegar. So cheap, better for the planet, and the smell does not bother my migraines.

I cut in a half with water and put in a plant spray bottle I bought at Wilcos.

I am also interested where to buy in bulk, my parents buy by the gallon in the US.
