Also good as a fabric softener as it doesn't smell!
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!
  • use vinegar on your hair after a shampoo and it gives it a lovely healthy sheen - smells a bit when using but doesn't linger.

malt vinegar IS white vinegar, but with malt in it! Or, the other way around, white vinegar IS malt vinegar, but with the malt taken out .... same things. If you're going to use vinegar as a shampoo, do try to get the white one - it's just that you pong like a chippy for about half an hour if you use the malt one - ask me how I know?!

When my DD was young we had terrible nit problems at her school and the only thing that stopped it in our family was that we used a vinegar rinse at the end of every hair wash and the nits stopped appearing. We used one teacupful of neat vinegar through the hair, left it to soak in while she had a bath and then rinsed it out with clear, cool water. Result = no re-infestation, incredibly silky and shiny hair and no niff! Oh, and it kills dandruff too.

    Useful stuff, vinegar!
If you see me on here - shout at me to get off and go and get something useful done!! :D
