I got an error last night, thats why I halted in my order, then I googled the error code, and found that as the website has a twitter button for people to click on and follow him on there, it conflicts with the site security, and the web designer needs to alter some HTML to correct it - well thats what I thought it was.

Anyway this simple 'error' in the code made me instantly think that NO self respecting web designer etc would make such a school boy error.

I'm the fella with an ekm shop (not this one, I hasten to add!). That'll be the twitter button issue already mentioned. He won't have card details. I've posted a thread on the ekm forums and will do my best to kick up a stink over there (not that it's their fault, but other shop owners may have ideas beyond those we've already come up with).

I've just contacted my local trading standards by email (West Berkshire & Wokingham)

I felt partly responsible for initially sticking up for him solely on the basis he was an ekm-er. And I didn't do anything, just posted a link to this thread on their forums. Nevertheless, I agree - hopefully I'll be able to get an address or some form of contact for him - after all, I've lost two quid too!
