  • I feel SOOOOO bad as I didn't see the Evian ''deal'' , thank goodness ...

BUT I promoted the odeon voucher deal to EVERYONE I KNEW and think I may have even promoted it on here AS A GOOD DEAL!!!!!!

!!!!!! ... I feel like SLAPPING this guy as he SO REASSURED everyone re ; the cinema deal and seemed to come across as bona fide ( of course )

Seemed so real , thats all I can say but so sorry to anyone who listened to my ranting about how good a deal the Odeon one was when it was NEVER EVEN a deal in the first place!!! :(:(
  • Gosh.. things like this get me soooo angry!!!! - sometimes wish i didnt have the morals to be able to even think of doing this..... i would be a very rich woman....

Can anyone tell me if the people who went for the Odeon deal got scammed out of more than the price of the tickets? Did they have money go from their bank accounts for other things?
Just wondering if it's just a case of losing £1.95, which I can cope with, or if there's a chance of more being taken.

    Thanks for your help x

    thatguy1 is right.

WN1 1TS does not exist as a post code. WN1 1ST does though. So a fake address I'm afraid.

I think they took a fiver off people for the Odeon ''deal'' but they never received their vouchers , seems only the fiver was taken as on their Facebook page it said ''the money has left my account for the vouchers but I haven't received them'' which is what most people wrote so they TOOK the correct amount .... But , yes literally JUST TOOK IT!!

I just called Barclays and have cancelled my card, which is a complete pain, but may stop them processing the payment. It hasn't been processed yet. This is the first time this has happened to me. I only ordered because the kids had been commenting on the advert on TV earlier in the day... Thought I was being a nice mum! I only spotted this thread by chance, wouldn't it be a good idea to post a thread on grabbit to warn anyone else to cancel their card?
