It's a scam, the forum team probably removed it...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Yes, after much investigating last night several of us concluded it was a scam.

There was NO address details on the website / facebook etc, and the registered owner of the site has previously used MSE to promote another offer which left people without goods.

We concluded that your bank details are safe, however you will lose your £1.95 he shouldnt have access to be able to take more from your account, but if you times that by 3000, it's £5,850 for a few hours work setting up a dodgy website.

and of course there no comeback as there is no contact details anywhere.

What was the reason you feel bank/ card details are safe? If someone has entered card number, expiry date, CVV etc. it would be risky.

Didn't see original thread so maybe a valid reason, so apologies if this is the case.

This needs to be in the 1st post tbh, but this is on the 1st page...

**** YOU NEED TO CANCEL YOU CARDS ASAP, IT TURNS OUT THAT THE PERSON COULD HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR CARD DETAILS IF THEY USED A DIFFERENT PAYMENT SYSTEM TO WHAT WE THOUGHT! ****

sorry about the big bold red letters

Because the details were put through a secure server through ekmpowershop. Plus someone who has a shop with ekmpowershop confirmed they only see your name & contact details.

The payment went through a secure gateway that you need to have a business bank account for, some other techie person explained it greater. Scammer will only have your £1.95 payment and your address details. As they owner of the shops only gets to see address i =n which goods are to be posted to.

Many people contacted their bank last night and were told that he could still have the £1.95 even though their card was cancelled as they have already authorised it, but there is now a flag on the account for anything suspicious.

So we assumed that's why he charges £1.95, it's a valid postal cost, and as it was posted on here 1000's would and have flocked to buy in a rush without checking in fear of it going out of stock 1st.

Delivery also stated in very tiny writing that it would be 7-10 delivery days, enough time to transfer funds, close account, ad shut up shop.

We then started posting things on his facebook page about it being a scam and they all got deleted.

The poster penno195 (coinsidence with the £1.95 postage???) posted another thread in may about a deal on dizzy deals about odean tickets, and as with that thread and this thread he made the OP then came back a few posts later to say, its not dodgy it's ok it's a secure payment, therefore adding extra reassurance. No one got their odean tickets either.

So someone checked the whois website and the names for the registered omains matched for both websites, but the addresses were fake.
