I bought 1 T-shirt, havn't cancelled bank card yet, & no money has been taken out of my account as yet, it has been an eye opener for me! as i usually buy from big reputable companys and don't give it a thought ( how stupid!) so glad in a way if it's a small hit that it has brought me to my senses! But yes this Guy should be accountable for what he has ill gained as it obviousley isn't a small amount so will support as needed, who would you conntact about investigating this??

same here, i haven't cancelled my card because of the other users here that also use the same system stating there isn't a way of the site users accessing the card information.

however i agree what an eye opener, and though i am not at all condoning this mans behaviour 2 quid for an eye opening life lesson learned seems a small price to pay. i've decided that i shall charge up my new orange cash card with 20 quid or so and save that for these little deals from sites i haven't used before AND i will thoroughly read threads first before jumping in, better safe than sorry

so far no money has come from my site and after having received an initial order confirmation email i have since received an order cancellation email. i'll keep an eye out on my account transactions but if i lose the money i can at least be grateful that's all i lost for making a hasty purchase right before bed... it's not our fault it's his but at least it was a cheap lesson rather than one none of us could afford... though i do hope they get the !!!!!!

Just had a reply from trading standards & they are contacting Lancashire Trading standards regarding the dizzy-deals website. (the extreme shirts site is now no longer showing anything :( so don't think they can do anything about that)

    btw, I did contact One.com aswell :)

I haven't cancelled my card either, but I do like the idea of a prepay credit card for internet buying... I might investigate that... It would also help me budget rather than spending willy nilly too I imagine...

Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Just canceled my card to be on the safe side. The guy said no £1.95 is showing as pending or anything, so hopefully they didn't take it.

    Thanks everyone!

I haven't cancelled my card yet either...bank said to keep a close eye on my account and call them as soon as I noticed anything strange, but not sure whether to cancel or not.

Adam, when you went through checkout, was everthing as it should have been for the payment?

Thanks all for your messages, keep them coming, so we all know if and when money is taken!

    NEW ADVICE:

On the EKM forums, a member has stated he could have been using 'secureform', a gateway that will mean he now has access to all card details. This makes sense as with all other gateways, payment is taken immediately.

I now highly recommend you either cancel cards or at the very least remain vigilant with your banking and watch for dodgy transactions.

You should be able to go to the counter in your bank with ID & get money out that way.
