I have a DH and a DD (18) and DS (19) who are all very fond of leaving little bits of cash around the place, which fall onto the floor, up the stairs etc, so as I'm tidying it all goes in the pot. Also any money I find when doing the washing goes in too.
Morning headachesrus
Sue will be along later to officially welcome you into the gang, so consider yourself "IN"you'll find us a friendly lot who encourage each other, so enjoy the banter and enjoy saving

Morning everyone
2 X £2 coins into the Chicago & New York fund last night, also my usual £2 into the sealed pot. 15p tea room change left lying on the floor this morning so thats going into the road change pot when I get home. DW foolishly left 25p on the table in the kitchen, so I've put that into a safe place.
Have a great day everyone, stay safe & keep savingSparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. Total for SPC3 £1,030.57 Total For SPC 4 £2247.00 Total for SPC 5 £2574.62 :T Total for SPC 6 £4552.91:T

A very warm welcome Cherryjack and headachesrus, it's lovely to have you with us.
Have great fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much
Keep your well hidden, Cherryjack!!
You've got the right idea, headachesrus, you now become a human hoover!
A very Good Morning ALL, I hope the day is a lovely one wherever you are.
Ahh, bless little Lily, jakes-mum, typical littlies though, but Mum and Gran to the rescue! :A:A
That's so sad that you've not bee able to save, Flat Eric, but not to worry as, all being well, you're now changing your life around and ready to clear any debt as well as SAVE any cash you can! No good looking back now, look ahead and discipline yourself to have a frame of mind when shopping that you always ask "do I need it or just WANT it?", if it's the latter...leave it on the shelf and be proud of your self control!! Afterwards you could even pop the cash you'd normally have spent in your pot! :j All the best for the next 12 months.
So good to see you, fingersxed, good to hear how excited you are too! You still have a little way to go!Purpleroses wrote: »Is it sad that i'm super excited about finally opening my giant pig to see how much i've saved over the year.
Simple answer to that Purpleroses - NO! Or if it does then I'm sad too, in fact I'd say there was over 14 hundred of us like that - but so what, after all we're happy being sad! ooh I do hope you meet your Target, it won't be long to find out!
Hiya sparky and well done on your latest deposit in the cash-fill site! One of these days you're going to find your wallet's got walletworm with your DW eating into it!!Thanks a lot for the Fwd, oh so true and now well circulated from here. :T
I can only echo what sparky's said everyone, keep safe and keep saving as much as is possible. Enjoy your day.
Sue x
