Hey everyone, i have posted a few times in this thread and i'd like to officially join.

I have 2 pots - one for notes (if i sell something on Gumtree which is cash in hand) and £2 coins AND another tin for 5p peices and under (for this i have a jar that has a digital display coin counter - bought in Primark for £5 - my daughter does the 'drop-ins' as she loves to watch the counter).
I only started mid October but have £32 in one jar and £2.10 in the other.

eta - 8p gone in the pot today.

    Morning Bublin1

    Helloooooooooooooooooooo Pottersssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Woohooooooo :xmassmile I went to see Father Christmas today:santa2: He arrived at our local garden centre today complete with sleigh and real live reindeer :D Lily was very excited . . . . right up until he tirned up and then she was hiding :rotfl: so we watched him go past twice and then headed back to the car and shes dragging her feet and moping. We ask whats wrong and after 10 minutes of sad face she says 'but I didnt tell Father Christmas what I wanted!'
So back we go and do the 2 hr wait to go in, finally gets to our turn, we traipse in with 5 other kids, they all tell him their name, gets to Lily and shes hiding behind my wheelchair shaking her head madly :o. So it ended up with mummy talking to him and saying she'd very much like a skipping rope please. :rotfl: . . . . but she was thrilled with the toy at the end and I was thrilled that Gran had coughed up the £6 for the ticket to see him :D

  • Hi peeps, I'd like to join too, I have a pot with a counter on the top which I appropriated from my son, I currently have £8.41 in there, and would like to save it until December 2012.

I have a DH and a DD (18) and DS (19) who are all very fond of leaving little bits of cash around the place, which fall onto the floor, up the stairs etc, so as I'm tidying it all goes in the pot. Also any money I find when doing the washing goes in too.

I have again been missing for many months and sadly won't be joining you all on the 1st December 2011 to open my pot as I stopped saving many months ago. I'm not sure why really.

Anyway, I'm really excited about joining in the challenge for 2012 which I mention in my diary here ! Can't wait for the new thread and good luck and enjoy to all opening their pots on 1 December :j
