  • Is it only about 20 days til the grand opening

Haven't really potted as much as I had hoped as circumstances have changed but - hey ho - whatever is there is more than would of been there if I hadn't started pot - does that make sense. :D

You always manage to bring a smile to my face jakes-mum - thank you ;)

Found 1p roadkill in Mr S's the other day and I think I spotted two coppery looking discs in car last night - will have to check when I go out this morning - anything to help with the final push to the 1st Dec.

    Happy potting everyone.

I've been forgetting to post oops, but I'm now up to £11.61 in my pot :-) I went to pick up something that looked like a 2p road kill yesterday, only to find it was some scrap bit of metal oh well.

    Update:
1p roadkill found at Liverpool Street Station, just as I was thinking the bankers don't drop their money, win!

Morning everyone, I hope everyone's well.

Well done with your £98 savings, rubytuesday and thanks for popping it on your siggy too. :T

Be careful with all those end of day offers jakes-mum, or you'll all be big as houses and have rotting teeth!!! :rotfl:

Very good indeed, Indispensable Hobbes!!! That'll take some counting out, so worth it though. :j

I'm the same as you, mumof3plusoh, I keep searching but not a scrap of roadkill anywhere, it's ages since my last pick up. :(

There are still a couple who haven't put their numbers on yet, sparky, despite me sending PMs too!!! Did you get rubytuesday's total on her sig?

Don't worry, blue_eyed_girl, I know exactly what you mean, you'll be that bit better off having saved than not, for sure. Still time to add a few more coppers though! :D

It's ok, Kerri, you don't have to post, but it is lovely to have folk say hello every now and then, it stops my tears from flowing so much. :cry:You really shouldn't have said that you found a 1p at Liverpool Street Station, we've had folk move house from Liverpool as sparky lives there too and creeps around in early morning to collect all the roadkill. I don't think he's a banker, but........! Still, you've had it now and won't be finding anymore!!! :(

Hi again QRBK, same applies to you as to Kerry. What a load of cash you've saved....so far!!!!! All I can do is hope, some day, to get that much. See them ther pigs flying over?!

Enjoy your day folks and keep on saving as much as is possible for YOU! BTW, brettcta, would you kindly pop your No on your sig, please??

Liverpool street station is London :p
I went back at lunchtime, lo and behold I spotted a shiny 20p! That beats my daily maximum find of 3 5p's the other week. My colleague was slightly horrified and chuckled as I grabbed it from the floor exclaiming "road kill woo hoo".
