    1. Grabbit! Once you get used to the idea of just picking it up the perceived embarrassment goes away, After all someone else didn't want it so why shouldn't you have it instead? That said apparently I drive my OH mad when we're out together as I'm always looking at the floor not where I'm going. :o
    I'm with Scuba, except my OH has a mum who is obsessed with MSE too so between the two of us he's seen and heard it all.

    I was just in the process of dreaming about pot opening day when I realised that I've actually taken the day off work! It wasn't a day I needed to take, it just seemed right. Now I know why :idea:
    Thank you competition posters!

  • Forgive me SPC for I have sinned. I've got stupid sinus headaches & pressure under my cheeks which is killing me, so had to go to the shop last night for chocolate comfort food. I took £5 out of my not-so-sealed-pot (I use a persil liquitabs box as they smell lush), but I have now put £5 note in there and any remaining change to make up for it. *slaps hand*

    I was very good though and didn't take the chocolate money from my £2 pot, they've become precious. From Dec 2nd I'm going to have separate pots for different coins, then I'll be more scared of losing any shineys

    Total now: £22 in £2, £15.54 in my SP
    SPC = £15.54 #1413
    £2 challenge = £22
    DEBT =
    [STRIKE]£5030[/STRIKE] £4488.50 (10%)

    I counted up the work tin and got the full bags to the bank this morning so £13 added to the sig again. Just need to go ask nicely for some more cash bags ready for the main count of the Smirnoff Bottle. :)

    Yup we're moving from the flat in to a house in early December, the new place is out of town but I have to get the train to and from work so fingers crossed lurking at the stations will help.

    I am getting very excited now for the pot counting day. I can't wait to see all your totals. I must say this thread has made me completely OCD with money! Log onto my bank accounts numerous times during the day, just to see if I can afford to pop the change in my purse into the pot!!! You know what they say ~ Look after the pennies and they'll look after the pounds!:j
