What I especially like about it (apart from the free basic listings and low percentage commission on my sales) is that everything I list automatically gets featured in Google Shopping complete with thumbnails of my products.
Not sure why ebid always rave on about the Google Shopping thing? Its not unique to ebid - all my ebay listings appear in Google Shopping!

I've done a quick search on my category and I found a seller who sells the same items as I do, same brand etc, they have had items out for over a year, and not even one sale. They are not the cheapes, I would say average prices.

As many of the sales come through Google shopping, perhaps those items don't show up well?

Do "ebid" rave? Who are "eBid"? I'm not... I'm me and I find the google shopping thing works in my favour for more unusual items.

For example, I recently sold a Thomas Cook Continental Railway timetable from the sixties. This had been listing and relisting for yonks. If I had put it on eBay it probably would have done the same but it would have cost me a fortune in listing fees. I could have started it at 99p, of course, but as only one person in the world wanted it, that is what I would have got for it. So I would have made nothing on it. As it is, I did! Not a huge sum, but the item was rehomed instead of pulped and the charity I sell for made a little money (I trade in my own right and for a charity)

Some useful links if you are thinking of selling on eBid.

    Let me rephrase it...

A lot of ebid users always speak about ebid listings being visible in Google Shopping as though it is some sort of Unique Selling Point and an improvement over ebay.

I was just pointing out that ebay listings also appear in Google Shopping and that it is not unique to ebid.

only part correct sinse the abuse by certain ebay users ( keyword spamming, multipule idententical listings]) google was swamped by ilegal uploads so they stopped uploading ebay listings now when i search google i only see a few shop listings from ebay witch are certainly way down in the listings all ebid items that are ledgable are uploaded ie new or used, unused is not now uploaded so it is correct for ebidders to say they have a unique selling point on a item for item basis and placing in searches, your another poster on this site that gives disinformation, but by doing so you allow me to correct what your saying.another point your wrong about is saying google is a selling platform its is not in the contex were disscussing its a advertising web site in this case working as a trading partner with ebid were ebid items are uploaded to there selling platform the sales are made through ebid.

I should have clarified that it is ebay BIN listings that appear in Google Shopping, not auctions. Are yours auctions?

All my listings are BIN only - all of mine and my competitors appear in Google Shopping results.

I don't know you may be right.
I don't know anything about Google searches, SEO, Google shopping etc etc.
Whatever the reason the fact is that their items are not selling and mine are.

There is only one 'soolin' registered on eBid as a buyer..has been there for about 8 years...has no shops and no listings and only one feedback.

    Is that you?

If it isn't...I wonder who THAT soolin is??
BTW..for those who think that I am a new member...I used to be 'sunnycreatives' but the site doesn't recognise me when I try to sign in ...so I set up a new account
Just being picky and no offence intended but, why don't you go by your ebid name on this forum? Perhaps soolin chooses to have different names on different sites/forums as you have done?
