Daughter is pregnant - at 15!

Her dad is due to come this weekend and is taking the youngest 2 swimming, so if he calls me tonight or tomorrow he should have a few days to calm down - I'm sure he will be angry - not at her, but at the situation, if that makes sense.0

The reason Poppy is so concerned is that her DD has no boyfriend, as far as she knows has been nowhere she could have slept with a boy of her age and there is a real possibility that it is a person older in a position of trust.
Yes I'm know, that part was aimed more at those suggesting OP should call the police as her daughter is underage, whether or not the lad is 15, 16 or whatever they'd have him hung, drawn and quartered! If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in0 -
Yes, no situation is 'ideal' but if the father is around her age, and she agreed to it, then that would put my mind at ease.0

Poppyfield19 - you're doing an amazing job. I doubt many people would cope half as well as you are. Your daughter is very lucky to have you as her mother.MSE aim: more thanks than posts :j0

But surely the Op would know if she had been in a situation where she could possibly be on her own with an older person?
She does not have to have a regular boyfriend on the scene - it could just be someone she sees at school or meets up with when she is staying at a friends house and they 'pop to the shops' for example.
How many of us know exactly what our kids are up to 24/7?0 -
Poppyoscar that's really the only times it could have been. She doesn't go and wander around the streets or anything, just to her friends house, or as I said, the school reading club. She walks to school herself and one night a week comes home, gets changed and goes to the reading club thing. Apart from that, there's no other time it could have been.0

My boyfriend at the time was 21, but I was 16 so old enough by law, morally though, is that more acceptable than a 15 year old girl with a lad of 16 or 17??If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in0

Everyone please think - Troll - do not feed.0

I hope she talks to you about who the father is.
I personally would push to find out, the sooner you know it isn`t an older person OR `anything worse` the better.
You will need to tell her the importance of knowing not only for your own sanity and her wellbeing but for medical reasons incase she does continue with the pregnancy.
I would be VERY concerned especially as it appears she is always `safe` with either friends or yourself.
Where was she around the time of conception? Any parties/holidays/sleepovers etc. Something may twig back to that time.DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

Do her friends go to the reading club too?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
