    Halifax:
    Purchases: 11.96%(Standard rate at present 15.9%)
    BTransfer:7.95% Life of Balance:beer: unfortunately my main bank offers 6.7% personal loan so no go.(sorry did not ask if there was a BT fee as anyway the LOB interest rate was so s**t)

    MBNA: Get lost no offers:confused::j:j:j

    Looks like halifax is getting the boot next week. better to reduce available credit and keep MBNA as they are normally very generous. was not my day today

    Yes, Halifax is not renowned for good follow-on offers. This provider reserves its best deals for new customers, so you may as well close the account down, tbh ;)
    People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.
  • Just been offered 7.9% LOB tranfer from Tesco. Not a bad deal as no transfer fees attached. Now just waiting for Barclaycard to offer a LOB deal and i will be sorted.
  • Just been on the phone to Natwest and reporting back as promised. They couldn't offer me anything when I asked about making a balance transfer.

    The lady I spoke to said that she had no deals available today but to check back in a few days as the availability of deals changes.

    I'm not sure if this is just a fob-off though, so I applied (and got accepted) for a Bank of Scotland card with 9 months at 0% and a BT fee of 3%. I also got £20 cashback from topcashback, which off sets the BT fee a bit, so I'm happy.
  • Ive got 3 offers from Virgin:

    0% on Credit Card transfers until July 2010 (2.98% fee).
    0% on money transfers until Jan 2010 (2.98% fee)
    0% on money transfers until July 2010 (2.98% fee)

    I've gone for the 0% til July on money transfers.....better than paying 20% on my overdraft :j
  • AmEx Credit Card offers 4.9% for the life of the balance
