Thanks, had a look at it's 4% fee. But will the interest now be 0% or 27% when I pay back the £9k to card, I can't find the info on my account?0

Thought so. That's a difference of £90 on a balance of £9000. If your caller couldn't even get that right, I wouldn't rely on anything else that was said, personally.TinkerbellToo wrote: »Thanks, had a look and it's 4% fee
Unless stated otherwise, your repayments would be allocated to the transactions charged at the lowest rate first, namely your 0% money transfer. Will the interest now be 0% or 27% when I pay back the £9k to card? I can't find the info on my account?
To take advantage of this offer, you would need to pay off the balance on your Virgin card first, IMO.People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0 -
Thanks very much Moggles, glad I kept the name and number of the person I spoke to. There is little point in me doing the transfer then as I can't clear the balance first and it's costing me 4% on top.0

Unfortunately, that's how it looks to me too.TinkerbellToo wrote: »Thanks very much Moggles, glad I kept the name and number of the person I spoke to. There is little point in me doing the transfer then, as I can't clear the balance first and it's costing me 4% on top.
You may want to call the loyalty dept on 0800 783 1116 (during office hours) to double check the above.
Also, see what they can do to reduce the interest rate you're charged. You've nothing to lose really and it could cut your costs considerably

Moggles, you've been a great help, I really appreciate it, sometimes I can't see the wood for the trees.0

Just got 5.94% from Halifax One with 3% BT Fee. Was going to pay 21.90% on current provider.
They also reduced my purchase rate by 5%, not that I will be using it now though!0 -
