M&S wanted to keep my custom by offering me 0% on Purchases for 7 Months (Thats against their usual 18.9%!!!!)
Congratulations & thanks for the tip
May I ask did you request closure or simply ask if there were any offers on your account?People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0 -
I had no luck with M&S so closed the account.
Also failed to get anything from MBNA too. He pleaded with me to keep the account open as I'm a "valued customer" and they would offer me something in 9mths time but I told him to close it to lower my available credit and I'd take my chances on re-applying on 9mths time. Didn't think he was ever going to take no for an answer!
Can't be that valued a customer if they refuse to help me out when I need it now! lol“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

About 3-4 years I think but I've already had 3 BT deals with them and never spent anything on the card so wasn't really surprised they wouldn't offer me another one yet.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Got the following from HSBC thru post:
0% BT with 2.9% fees for 9 months from date of transfer. Good for BT done till end of June.:beer:0 -

I don't know if this is the right place to post but my question is can I apply for a card (in this case Virgin) even though Im an "additional" card holder on my wifes Virgin card (0% deal is coming to an end). Thanks.0
