  • ;)I have two Credit Cards, one for Virgin and the other Abbey National. Last month the 0% interest for 6 months with Virgin expired and they started hitting me with late charges etc. totaling about £80.00 in one month, I wanted to transfer Virgin's balance to my Abbey National card but I couldn't because they are both the same company i.e. MBNA.

  • Apologies all,

I'm new to this and wanted to get some simple advice on my issue with a credit card company.

I'm with MBNA (previosuly Abbey) and have a maximum £4,000 owing on which I pay the minmum monthly amount at their highest rate. They've refused to raise the limit to £7,000 which I need to help pay legal fees for aganist the ex-wife just to get access to see my kids - I'll spare you the sad details (!)
My credit rating (Experian) has always been good and I have no other credit cards.

What's my best option to 1. Raise my credit limit and 2. utilise a cheaper BT interest rate??

    Any help much appreciated
