  • Many, many, many thanks for every one that has entered race 4 life.

But did you know that from now on it will be even harder to enter & if the current trend continues the registration will go up with no more money going too the good cause!

May I suggest that instead of you entering individually you seek out a mutual regional site! & enter as a martin’s money team region? E.g. England north, south, Scotland, Wails, Island, North, South

That's quite worrying, hope it doesn't put people off.
DD and I have done the Race for Life since 2001 and certainly intend to run (walk :p:o ) it again next year.

Really? My understanding was that charities try to claim back more than I have paid in tax the Inland Revenue take it off ME, not the charity(ies).

they probably are ringing to encourage you to do it again this year. I'm not sure, but I'd love to find out! have you let them know you'd rather be contacted by email? I'd imagine that they prefer to talk to people, as it's more likely that they'd take part, and it's good to talk (as Bob used to say). There's a host of possible reasions, which is why I'd love to find out why.

  • gib, found out what they wanted, they are contacting everyone one who ran, and are asking you to sign up for a direct debit payment for breast cancer.
